I always thought that it would be a great twist to the story if Quan Chi turned out to be Shinnok in disquise this whole time. Unlikely, I know but stranger things have happened in the worlds of Mortal Kombat.

Nah, I don't like Shinnok anymore after having played MK4. He didn't have any special attacks on his own and stuff...

Shinnok had MASSIVE potential as a character and a main villain but that's exactly it... HAD. Midway started off excellently in MKM but absolutely RUINED Shinnok in MK4 when they made him playable, have no original moves whatsoever and make him look like a clown.

I would like Shinnok to make a REVAMPED appearance in a future MK but not MKD.

shinnok was tight in mkm. i agree if he woodnt have been playable in mk4 he woulda been alot tighter. if he comes back he would need his own moves. i like his pink eye lasers and pink forcefeild, maybe that could be his special moves.
and of course, new outfit

Shinnok was to ordinary in my opinion. Dont get me wrong, he was alright, but he doesnt seem like a tough boss in my opinion (nor looks like one). He looks to ordinary and doesnt seem threatning. I mean, when you first see kintaro and kahn, you know they mean bussiness, and they actually LOOK like bosses. Shinnok just looks like a normal man with powers of other people, to me, he doesnt seem like someone to be feared.

When i first played MK4 and saw him, he didnt capture my attention, and he wasnt intimidating. To make things worst, he was PLAYABLE and didnt look anything like a boss. granted, he didnt have his own moves. Yikes, pretty terrible.

IF he was to come back, he needs new formula. Give him his OWN moves, and make him look bad ass. I want to see armor on him like kahn, and perhaps a cape. Make him look like someone to be feared. I would kinda want him to look like Bison from street fighter, except green eyes, way darker colours, a cape, and more armor and pads.

With a make over like this, then i'll probably accept him. His story is pretty decent, and i dont hate him, i just didnt like those things about him.

By no means was he a tough boss. But all you guys want more Elder Gods to come into the game, so bring back Shinnok and give him a new amulet. I think that would be pretty badass if that happened actually.

For being an Elder God, he was a little bitch in MK4. He was alot harder and tougher in MK:Mythologies than in MK4. He looked alot more badass in MK:M too. He had awesome potential... his story is sic. A power mad Elder God gets to greedy, so they banish him to Hell, he over throws Lucifer and rules the Netherealm but its not the same and not enough, so he then plots with Quan Chi to come back to seek revenge on those who cast him down and continues his quest to achieve what he always wanted, complete domination of Earth realm.

Before MK4 came out I thought "Oh shit, the god from MKM is the boss for MK4! His gonna be hard as hell blah blah blah".. Then i play against him and what happens... double flawless and a fatality on his ass.. he was pathetic. He needs to come back with a comeplete make-over.. New appearence, no moves, new deceptive yet same motives, etc.

if they would bring back the mkm version of shinnok, that would rule. he was so bad ass in mkm, but sucked in mk4/mkg. they took everything that was cool away from him, and made him a half assed shang tsung.

I loved Shinok. Like, I thought he was wicked as a chracter, and I thought he looked like an end boss. He was weak play wise though, and that needs to be fixed. I might say he is actually my favorite boss as a character though.

I agree he was easy, but you coulnd't put a fatality on shinnok.. at least in the later builds, his head would blow off, and he would fall into a portal... I think Revision 2 and later. And I also agree with you that, after seeing his look in MKM it was dissapointing to be able to play as the boss.

I thought Shinnok was perfect in MK4, He was pretty much the only character i used.

I loved seeing moves like Quan Chi's Green Skull Throw, Fujin's Wind Lift, Sub-Zero's Ice Blast, Or Scorpion's Spear comming from him. And when fighting him, You never knew what to expect.

Though i wouldn't mind if he had his own moves. Just as long as he still had his "Hands from Hell" fatality.

Well then, I dont know what revision I had, but i do remember doing a fatality on him... I should remember, it was the most dissapointing thing for me in MK4. But I try to block all the is MK4 from my mind, so who knows.
