I would like to see him as a human again. I thought he was badass.

Smoke as Human was nothing more than a grey Scorpion,i dont know what's the fascination with that cheap shit,Smoke's look in MK:D (nanosuit) is the way to go.

Smoke should not return at all. He got more than he deserved, in my opinion, when he got to be a sub-boss in MKD. I am not trying to bash the character or anything, I understand it is popular, but as far as story goes, he's just a pawn/follower who gets jerked around.

If he were to return, though, cyborg form would be the way to go. You just can't reverse the process. The only other option I'd settle for, is some kind of elemental form, which he discovers after he gets killed, sent to the Netherealm, and explores a little. Basically his robotic shell still serves as a center for his energies, I guess, but his powers have increased beyond their previous supernatural limits.

I like the cyborg form he had in MKA. I think he should stay a cyborg. (If anything, they need to change up the all smoke form because he looks retarded wearing overalls or whatever.)

He would have a much better storyline as a "bad guy" then a good guy.

I too think smoke has had his run. i mean him and sub zero have been going at it for like 4 games now. How hard is it to kill a robot anyways? geze, just turn a water hose on him and be done with it.

I freakin agree same with the dude who said he was only a grey scorpion . well midway just thought peoples should be able to play as him cause in mk2 he IS BADASS!!!!!!!! anyway they didnt put much thought into it so they gave the fans (and ed boons ) faverite moves to him yes to moves teleport punch and they spear (so cheap but cool). same with the fatalities NO THOUGHT! AT ALL! sure but they can simpley improvise like they did with cyborg smoke hell the new-ish cyborg smoke doesent have bombs . this time they could put some time into his moves for him. right at this moment i'm 50-50 on the cyborg human smoke thing. but no matter what they should make him be good thats all i realy ask.shoot all mk classic ninjas looked the fucking same dudes . ermac,scorpion,rain,sub-zero(classical),reptile,even noob saibot. (hell most of them still very little look the same.

If Smoke does return, I'd like to see him sport his MK:SM uniform...that looked so hot as oppose to his evil power ranger look in MKD/MKA, I hated that look...

His cyber look always looks badass, assuming he comes back.

I wouldn't mind seeing Human Smoke return, but he has been a cyborg since MK3. So I don't really see the MK Team bringing him back human at all. If Smoke returns in MK8, I would want him to support his MKA alt for his primary look. I'd say trash the smokey transparent look, it was way too wierd and sort of distracting. The mask he is wearing with that look was so ugly. I didn't like Smoke in that form at all. So, hopefully...we do see Smoke in MK8 human or not, but it's all up to Boon and Co.

I'd have disagree with the ones that put down human smoke. I'd like to see a updated version of human smoke. The "gray Scorpion" Smoke was merly as an extra that they put in for hidden kharacters. Personally, I like Humna Smoke in MK:Trilogy. He was really kool in there. Tho' he looks better in MKA then he did in MKDA as a sidekick with Noob Saibot as a Sub-Boss. Human Smoke should still team up with Sub-Zero cus they were friends anyways. Of course Classic Sub-Zero hasn't been around in while and who knows if Human Smoke is Friends with Sub-Zero's twin brother. Well that's my P.O.V.

I don't know, I didn't in no way or form feel his MKA/MKD human look looked remotely human...his MK:SM looked much better and actually did look more human. And btw, H.Smoke is not a grey scorpion....lol so untrue, Smoke smokes and looks way different compared to Scorpion.

What I don't understand is why people beleive that one version is somehow more powerful than the other version. What I mean is:

Take a look at wrestling, people beleive that Kane will wrestle better if his mask returned to him. Lately, people have been saying that he sucks becuase he went mask-less.

People say that Smoke was more powerful as a human not as a cyborg. But does apperance really matter as an effect on strength and power? I highly doubt that something like that makes one powerful. So that means if I start wearing a hat from now on, I'll get stronger seeing how I only weigh 105 and stuck in a wheelchair? I doubt that will happen.

Therefore I only have to say that if this character makes a return, either stick with one version of him, or ditch the entire character. Becuase it's useless to have a character with people debating every day about his appearance. Not to mention that if somehow Midway decides to go with the fact that Smoke had a brother like Sub-Zero did and one of them went maskless while the other when as a shadow, I'm going to get ticked.

Classic Sub-Zero became Noob-Saibot once he died, his soul was corrupted by the Neatherrealm for his evil deeds then became Noob-Saibot. This is also explained partially/hinted in MK Mythologies Sub-Zero by Raiden, then later confirmed once we found out that Noob USED to be C. Sub.

maybe be a fusion of human on his right side of his body and cyborg on his left side of his body only if he were to return. it be a cool new look for him. what do you think.

Is there any way we can get this changed into a poll? I'd do it myself but I don't know how or if I'm even able to. If someone could either explain to me how or make one themselves, that would be great. I'm just curious to see how it breaks down, and plus hopefully, it could have an impact on the developers. You saw what happened when everyone clamored for the MKSM version of Reptile in MKA. Maybe, if enough people want it, and we're vocal enough about it, we can get the MKSM version of Smoke in MK8. So, somebody anybody, please make a poll. Cyborg or human, maybe add elemental as a third choice.
