Ah dude,
Dont get the Ps2, get Xbox. Way better graphics and the online gaming setup is better than the Ps2. Although the Ps2 has alot of more games, it doesn't compare to the graphics seen on the XboX. Xbox All the way!
The guy who done the combo vids on Konqrr's site said its alot smoother on X-Box, and has faster loading times too.

Go to blockbuster and get MK:DA for both system. Then play it on both systems and decide which controller you like the best. That the ony thing you can decide which controller works for you. I like the Xbox's s controller, but most people like the PS2.

I say go by what controler you like because I have both systems and my xbox has been gathering a thick layer of dust because the controller comes no where close to the PS2s. Although Logitech's newest wireless controller for both systems have been designed similarly. And as far as the graphics go, there really wasn't a difference worth bragging about in MKDA so don't let the graphics argument sway you too much.

X-Arcade all the way. (for Xbox, of course)
Do you have both PS2 and Xbox? If so, get the Xbox version. Any time a game comes on multiple platforms I go for Xbox, as it's the most powerful of the 3.

Don't forget that you can use a legenday arcade stick instead of the wimpy pads from both Sony and Microsoft. Never let 'em catch ya' with your pants down to see you using a "feminine" pad! grin
Arcade sticks all the way baby for Xbox and PS2!!
If it helps at all, the Xbox version was the better looking version when I went to E3 and by now I'm sure its even better looking. The PS2 version wasn't bad looking by any means but you could clearly see the difference. If you use arcade sticks for fighting games as I do then there should be no problem choosing the Xbox version as it is superior. Get a universal arcade stick so that you can break your friends down on their PS2! Take care
