Should I get it for PS2 or Xbox..HELP!
I have both systems and I'm wondering what ya'lls opinion is on one vs the other.
I'm split as to which system to buy it for.
I already know that online will cost me on xbox, so not interested in that opinion LOL.
THOUGHTS?
PS: Sektor13, I have begun playing MK3 performing fatalities on Sektor. You have officially made me hate him. I hate him more than Ashrah. Congrats.

Don't even TRY to start a console war. Someone close this thread, because someone obviously doesn't read the rules.
Plus, how can you hate Ashrah if you haven't even played her yet? Noobs....
oh for the luv of god...I JUST want some damn advice! I don't like one over the other. Jesus christ is everyone on here THAT damn childish that they can't post an opinion without fighting?
And I hate Ashrah because I don' like her look or her move sets i've seen, nor do i like her Fatalities. DAMN people.
Close the damn thread if ya'll can't act like mature people.

Whine, whine, whine.
We aren't childish, we are trying to prevent a flame war. If you don't see it, you're obviously blind. There are kids on this site who will argue and flame each other about it, and we are in NO way acting childish. You don't even know the definition of the word. This thread will get closed whether you like it or not. If you would have read the rules, you would have known.

Thank you SO much for you're input and opinion. It has been noted.

Well if you can be mature about this topic I think it could be discuss without being a console war topic.
So IMO I would say xbox if your going for the online function cause you would have a pretty secure server and probably not that much lag.The load times would probably be faster but probably not by that much.Sure xbox will probably look slightly better but again not to much. And if you put both up together without knowing which is which you probably wouldnt be able to tell.So which ever feels better for you.Cause ps2 controller is probably better to use in fighting games or maybe not,its always going to be up to you.Sure people can tell you what works for them but that might not work for you.So maybe rent both and then decide which is better for you.

I have both systems and I'm getting the XBox version. I'm a graphics guy and it has been noted that the graphics on the XBox are slightly cleaner and better looking. Sure, I'll pay for XBox live, but hey... I want the best looking version for my 40" Sony Wega HDTV.

Forget console War, now you made this into a tv war...muhahahaha. I have a 27 inch Sony NON Flat screen and NON Widescreen
I've used XBox live before and it's very easy to navigate. The guys over at IGN decided to go with XBox live when they played against Ed Boon in the recently posted videos. They said it worked beautifully with no lagging or glitching. They said about the XBox Live version, "To say that I was blown away with just how smooth and responsive the online portion of the fighting truly is, is an understatement, as Mortal Kombat: Deception is seriously the most lag-free Internet fighting game I've ever played." Sure, I bet the PS2 version works just as well, but we haven't had anyone make any comments about having used it yet. It's a toss up...
