This may have been brought up before, but I couldn't find it, so whatever. Now hear me out...creating entire arenas would be a bit too hard, and that's not what i'm suggesting. However, imagine how great it would be if there was a hidden option you could unlock to customize existing levels, but then save them as a seperate level?

For example, take the Sky Temple (pictured in PSM), and lets say you can change the color of the stormy sky from dark blue to dark red? And change the color of the lightning? Or add more lightning effects? Or maybe instead of rain and lightning, you have a blizzard and snow?

Take it a step further...how about adding more weapons to the arena? You could end up redeisgning your own MK2 'Armory' arena. Add some obstacles and interactive objects, and you'd have tons of stuff to throw your opponents into and use to your advantage. Heck, go even further and add the ability to implement some Death Traps.

Change some colors, add some banners on the wall...anything like that. I think it would add some great cuztomization, which is a feature we're all wanting in MK. It'd be better yet if the arenas could be uploaded online and traded between players. If we haven't heard anything about this by now, its unlikely that its in, and its a bit too late for them to start on it now, but you never know. I lost faith after MKDA, but regained it when I saw the first footage of MKD. Deception is shaping up to be great, and if a customization feature as big as this was added, I defnitely think it make MKD the best fighting game around, period.

Any thoughts? Any other types of customization on the levels you can come up with?

Thats a good idea.

What if there was design software for the PC and you could upload levels to a server? Then you could completly design a level, if you knew how to use 3d programs you could, and if you did not you could use some stuff they give you.

me i dont like the idea, because sum time with games if it gives u to much freedom then it will take away from the whole mood that is there. I dont know i just dont want this whole customization thing to get out of hand.

I get what you mean. Thats why I think it does not have to be included with the game, but a set of tools released later that could be downloaded. Add them if you want.
