I think it is a fair assumption that some of us rushed through the first village in earthrealm and missed a few key things, including keys it looks like. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that these keys open certain special doors throught the realms. There is a temple in Chaos where the priests are praying you cannot open, a door in Edenia where Sindle is that you cannot open, In Neathereal where you trained with Ashra cannot open that either. There are 3 realms there. The door where you train with Sub Zero in Earthrealm you cannot open, the door in the village where Liu Kang is in Outworld you cannot open. Is there a door in Orderrealm you cannot open? This might be part of the mystery, there must be a color coded key that opens each one of these doors in each realm. What do you think???????
