Shujinko and Scorpion fued

I looked at Shujinkos bio and it said his foe is Scorpion what do you guys think scorpion did or didnt do for Shujinko to hate him?

well Scorpion meets the elder gods in his bio, perhaps he's a rival against Shujinko on the same quest? Or perhaps he is defying the elder gods in some way? Maybe shujinko is jealous or something? All speculation, no clear cut details enough to make a definite conclusion.

I don't think it has to do with elder gods.
Shujinko's story is before mk1, so they probably met then and became rivals. They probably crosed paths at the wrong place at the wrong time,
