Shujinko fatal. timing

Now I have both Fatalities and Im in arcade mode.
I cant seem to get the timing down with his fatality.
It's Up,Down(2),Toward,Trangle (Close)
Now how close is close? Cuz I know there's swweping range and far away, so is close mid field-ish?
little help would be great

Close is as close as you can get to your opponent. I was having some trouble with that fatality too.

No. I dont know why so many have labeled it sweep range. You can't even connect a sweep from the proper distance. Sweep should be mid, and Mid is about the distance you start a match away from you opponent when it says Fight ( Think of it is Jump distance in old MKs )

No seriously does anyone know a trick for this timing stuff cuz this is garbage i cant do this only like 1 out of 30 times it works

it is close and it works for me.....his hari kiri does not work for me though d,b,d,b 3 is that right??
I unlocked that too and it was a pain in the butt
