This is just off the top of my head... but it's early in the day for me, so let's all just take a deep breath before reading.

With these new profiles we've been seeing, the allies and foes lists have been thought of as clues to other playable characters. This may or may not be true.

Regardless, I think that out of all the playable characters the odds of Sindel being Rain's ally were the greatest in my opinion, and he was not mentioned. Because of this I'm pretty certain that he will only be in Konquest mode, which kind of saddens me as it sems like character after character is getting the ok to get in.

I will admit that Rain may not have been the best character in the past, but I'm loving all the new ninja costumes so much that I really thought a dark purple one could have been made to look pretty sweet. Also, his story, though not as vague as some, could have been great with some elaboration.
