He's managed to transform his body into something that isn't man-made.

If I had to make a guess if that is some sort of cloaking mechanism, I'd say cyborg. If Cyrax can be modified, I'm sure Smoke can.

i think he is almost an elemental being like blaze was, so he has a human body but it is cloaked with smoke

Honestly, I don't think it's an upgrade, but more of a transformation. But I do think the idea of a cloaking devie is a rather sweet one.

The two most valid theories are that he's mastered his ability to the point where he can turn his remaining flesh into Smoke an escape his metal prison, or Raiden's god-like essence released from his explosion had an ethereal affect on Smoke.

I feel I use the word "ethereal" way too much these days.

By the way, kudos to the thread maker for at least knowing that Smoke's design was released and that he wasn't human/cyborg. I was so ready to argue, too.

Thats an awesome idea though. Smoke looking cloaked for an alternate costume would be bad ass.

I like the theory of him turning into smoke leaving his cyborg form

It makes me feel good that smoke is no longer a cyborg

I think he'll have the cyborg and human forms as alts.

I think he is 1/2 and 1/2. or maybe hge found a way to become 100% human, but I don't think he is 100% cyborg

Its prob just me but i really dont like the look of smoke, I like his mask but his outfit isnt that nice personally

No it doesn't. We've had numerous Smoke threads, and we all already know that Smoke is niehter Human nor Cyborg. There was no point as to why this post was made.

anyone ever wonder how they would capture smoke? I mean how u gonna catch someone that can turn themselves into and out of smoke? just my two cents =P

It would be cool if Smoke were half and half, cyborg human. I refuse to believe that's close to Smoke's new appearance if at all him, due to the fact that there is no sign of smoke in the first place.

Cloaking is overdone.

I like Temps idea of him becoming an etheral body of smoke to escape his cyborg body. It sounds like something that would really happen and I wouldn't be surprised if that's how it turned out.

My thoughts on this is that the costume seen in the pics is his alternate costume, whereas his primary is probably him covered up completely, so when you unlock the alternate costume, you'd go "Oh, so he was made of smoke the whole time? Clever."

If that is a cloaking device, then it's a piss poor one, how can you miss a big, human-shaped body of smoke, with a big elaborate costume? I severely doubt that it's a cloaking device.

If u ask for my opinion on what Smoke should be in Deception....im gonna go for the Human Smoke...Ive always liked him in Trilogy over the Cyber-Ninja.

My opinion is that it's a man made clear suit, seeing that

A. you can see through him and there is smoke inside.

B. His hands are very round

Which comes to conclusion that it's a man made suit with smoke's smoke, which could probably be his soul or something which allows him live. This is my thought about it because in the BPRD comic books, this character turns into ectoplasmic gas and he gets scientists to make him a suit so that can be his new body.
