I thought I would make this topic as a general discussion about the new looks for these characters, if indeed they are the characters we believe them to be.

First of all, Smoke. I actually like his look, though I'm unsure if it makes sense, as he seems to be bleeding blood. His mask is confusing, but don't forget people that this man was a cyborg. Obviously he has gone through some sort of transformation, but the chances of his face being intact after the transformation are quite small, so he obviously needs to wear some sort of mask or full helmet. Why the mask appears to be reptilian I dont know, but I don't believe it to be his actual face, as it doesnt match the rest of his body which is transparent. Surely if his body is transparent, his real face would be also.

To the Jade/Tanya thing. I would expect this character to be Jade. Although Jade is seen in the prison stage, It isn't impossible for them to have added Jade last minute, possibly in place of what they originally intended to be Tanya. It wouldn't be too dificult to edit the prison stage and get rid of the old Jade model. I liked Jade, so I hope it is her.

Kabal appears to be almost identical to how he was before, but really, what else could he change in his costume? His mask is the main focal point so really whatever change to the rest of his costume they decided to do would be overlooked. As well as I like to see the old looks in 3d form.

I don't know if that other character is Kira or a new character, but looking at it, she doesnt look much like the Artwork we have seen of Kira so far, or at least in my opinion she looks vastly different, so it's anyones guess.

The only character I'm waiting to see now is Sektor, I'm hoping he's in some kind of really modernised bad ass cyborg thing, which has been given a contemporary overhaul due to his new status.
