Out of the dozens of characters in MK history, he was the coolest ever. Needs to return as a lightning fast non secret charcter human or preferably robotic in MK6. What does everyone think?

I like smoke...A LOT... but he doesnt have to come back now or every, tho i would like to see this happen. There is an opening in mk6 if frost is a traitor he wil need a new right hand man who saved him from cyrax and sektor, but who knows whats going to happen right?

Though I know he has a large fan base, I have to agree.
I never was a big fan of his, mainly because he was always a Scorpion clone.

I know if he were to come back he wouldn't be a clone, but the fact that he was in 2 other games means he will allways be a clone to me sad.

Then again though, my mind can be changed, but I just don't see anything going for him at the moment.

i agree that smoke needs to return. i did like him even though he was a clone of scorpion but i liked him because he was a faster version of scorpion and i have always liked scorpions specials. i didn't like the machine version as much because it took longer for him to throw his spear. have smoke as a cyber ninja but make him faster and give him new specials. and give him the steel whip as a weapon, anyone who takes martial arts should know how dangerous and deadly the steel whip is or give him the tri-sectional staff

mk has done just fine without him..mk doesnt NEED smoke.

the only way i would ever consider it is if he wasnt a "ninja clone" and had his OWN moves.

first off, for all you non smoke fans, i say you are wrong. Just consider the greatness of smoke in mortal kombat 2 as you got to fight him at some point in the game and he always beat you in one round becase he was so fast. Now, it would be something awesome, even unbelievable, if he were to reutrn in the starting lineup as the lighning fast human smoke he was in MK2. What im saying is the mystic of the game would be unbelievably high and it will help make mk6 the best selling video game in history.

No thanks, we don't need another cyborg ninja running around. We stil have Sektor and Cyrax remember? And yes, he would HAVE to be a cyborg that is unless some new character comes and formally takes his name and gimmick. Which of course would be kind of cool so long as he wasn't some dumb ninja.

And I hate to tell you this but adding Smoke will NEVER make MK the best selling game in history. Smoke has a fanbase, true, but he won't sell the game... Ever...
