You know, when you pcik two same characters, their colors are different to tell them apart.
Has anyone seen or posted pictures up yet?

the change in color is SO slight that it's not even worth taking pictures.

For some reason, I didn't know before I bought the game that there weren't alternate costumes (either I missed it somewhere or it was news to everyone, I don't know). Imagine my surprise when I played an online Sub-Zero vs. Sub-Zero and couldn't tell my character from the other guy.

So lame. I understand that licensing issues were probably the reason for this, but I can't help but be disappointed. One of the best parts of the last 3 MK games was checking out all of the different costumes that they thought up for the characters. I'm hoping that we might get it as DLC at some point but I'm not holding my breath.

yeah. really all they do is darken or lighten the color of the original outfit.

although characters like batman look much better with the darker look. but mostly it doesn't matter at all.

Not to be a downer, but I seriously, seriously doubt we're gonna be seeing alternate costumes for anybody. I'd be willing to bet we'd see multiple downloadable characters before we see even one alternate costume.

Why? Because that would require making more character models that need approval from DC. Granted, they could provide alternate costumes exclusively for MK characters, but that would look pretty fucked from a DC point of view.

But even in that scenario, what makes you think they're going to make more character models for MKvDC when they didn't even finish making bios for MK: Armageddon?

That said, downloadable characters seem like a viable possibility. I don't think all that Aquaman noise was purely a joke, especially with noob.com art sketch that was released.
