Ermac was one of the people sealed in Kenshis sword, they are allies. I read it in an article somewhere

actually Ermac is good this has been confirmed by his Bio, and was never sealed in Kenshi's sword, because Ermac isn't a person, he is a collection of souls. Also, just because Kenshi doesn't have Ermac listed in his Allie doesn't mean they are enemies, it could simply mean Kenshi is neutral on his alignment with Ermac, or it could simply be that there would not be enough room if they put every ally and enemy of every character.

Another thought could be that Kenshi believes Ermac and himself traded tis for tat so there is no friendship bond between them. Ermac on the other hand has been freed from enslavement which would make him much more unstable because this is the first time that Ermac has been freed. It's not like he has many friends so he could just be clinging to Kenshi since this is the only person who has ever helped him.

I'd hate to think that, but at this point since we don't have the game all we can do is speculate. Now if Boon and Co base the characters emotions and reactions on human instinct, this would seem like it makes sense. But that would, imo, make Ermac somewhat lame...
