No, I'm pretty sure the character is 13, and he's just beginning his training.

That set's this game apart from alot of create a character modes. Every aspect will be time consuming.. really the MK team was smart with this.. that way you won't be seeing stupid bogus characters online everywhere... well you probbly will, but those people have alot of free time on their hands. Also even as sweet as my character could be, I still don't think I will ever stop using pre-created characters, they keep MK, MK.

I think a 13 year old main character is a bad idea. specially in an M rated game like this. Personally I stoped playing with 13 year olds .. when i was well.. 13.
18 is probably a better starting point for a character thats about to give his life for mortal kombat. but who knows.. we'll have to wait and see how it play out.

i'm sure you can't fight with him until you have trained and he is older i don't think they would let the game out if you could kill or kick the crap out of a 13 year old kid

Okay, aside from the downright CREEPY original post...

I'm sure you train with the kid until he gets older, then fight with him. Customize his costume, make him a warrior etc. It all sounds like fun! I can't wait to take my created character online and see what other people have come up with.

The article does say: You begin your quest as a 13 year-old apprentice warrior. So I think it’s clear we will start Konquest with a kid, and if that’s true maybe he will actually train the basics, like high low attacks, moving around, some secrets you can ONLY do at this age, etc.

If he has been a warrior for 13 years, why would you need to travel him through realms and learn 3 different fighting styles and learn a bunch of other stuff? Don't you think warriors, especially if they were warriors for that long already be experienced in all that stuff? Anyway, starting off as a kid is cool.

Scorpion's spear may miss your character.

if the kid is started into martial arts at a young age he will be a bettr fighter, that is why they start you with such a young character. i personally think this is a great idea, i wish you people would stop nagging about things hat are stupid and pointless. boon and co. won't listen to you about these stupid points, so shutup.
