Some Konquest Ideas ( and questions)
I'm really excited about Konquest. I think the crew should be extra carful to work in stuff from all of the MKs. Like, you could visit Shang Tsung's island, and you could actually see where all the 6 stages of MK 1 are located on the island.
You Should also be able to go to the bases of the Lin Kuei, The Special Forces, The Order of the Light, and other organizations with in the game.
So post any ideas you have for Konquest.

You said it, man. I really hope they let us see the stages and where they are, and maybe even give us background information on them like they did with stages in MKDA.
Sorry I couldn't finish all my ideas. It was 4 in the morning and I was in the process of writing a much longer more detailed post, when my mom came in and goes "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING UP AT 4 AM!!! YOU CAN DO THAT AT COLLEGE, BUT NOT IN MY HOUSE!!"
Anyway
Konquest should be very story based. It would be stupid if you could just walk into the Netherealm, walk up to Quan Chi and he'd go "Hey buddy, I'll teach you a trick!"... No way.
The villians in Konquest need to either try to sway you to evil, or kidnap you. It would just be stupid if you walked up to Shao Kahn and he taught you something. Rather, your experiences in outworld and the Netherealm should be the forces of evil attempting to sway you to join them.
This would allow you to decide Shujinko's alignment, evil or good. Thus, when you played as him in arcade mode, he could have two endings; one if you chose evil, and one if you chose good.
If you chose to side with, say, The netherealm, Shujinko would slowly begin the decay into an Oni, and would become by the time he was playable. It would add to the individuality of each Shujinko player imo.
Also, all of the MK Archtypes should be there; on Shang Tsung's island, all of the gaurds, and monks should be present. In the outworld, during Kahn's reign, all of his Shadow Priests should be present.
Basically I'd like to see Konquest take the levels from MK1-5, plus Mythologies, and turn them into fully interactive 3-D levels. For example, you could go to the second bridge on the pit 2 and talk to Blaze and Liu Kang, or you could free the peasant who's stuck in the trees in the living forest, and he could give you a bonus.
MK Konquest is honestly the most exciting part of this new installment for me, and I hope they don't bungle it.

Man if they add all those thing plus more like other famous MK places it will feel that im not even playing MK Deception anymore. I'll probably play Konquest more than Arcade.
I also think that Konquest should develope character relationships a bit; I mean, did you ever wonder how such conflicting personalities as Baraka, Reptile, Noob Saibot, Kano, and Shao Kahn got along under the rule of one emperor? I'm sure there was a lot of bickering and power playing.. I always saw Baraka as the savage, Kano as the smart ass, Reptile as the ass kisser who know one likes, and Noob Saibot as the silent assassin who everyone thinks is creepy.

I wouldn't mind that as long as it was a shop keeper and not a character. lol.

lol imagine Quan Chi wearing a Wal-Mart uniform and saying "How may I help you", its hysterical!
Well I was figuring Shaolin monks, Demons, and Shadow Wizards would sell you shit. But Quan Chi in a wal-mart uniform would be great.
