Someone from website MKAustraillia.com has said he was emailed by Ed Boon himself on SU and Gamecube news. In my opinion it is total BS but read on. Because Ed and the team said they werent going to reveal anything about GC exclusives.

Yes folks it has been confirmed that there are Super Unlockables in Mortal Kombat Deception. After recieving an e-mail today with a quote from Ed Boon we are pleased to be the first to announce that there truly are Super Unlockable characters. Which are these characters? due to the game not been released yet to 75% of the world that cannot be revealed yet. However they do exist and you should not give up.

The quote from Ed Boon is as follows received on 27th October 04.

"The main grid of characters is going to be 24, but there will be more. We wanted to add things that may not even be apparent on the select screen. Things such as achieving certain goals, some in two player modes of Kombat and Online Kombat and some things in Puzzle and Chess Kombat. So there will be many hidden features in Deception. Not all of them will be additional characters, however, there will be additional characters to MK Deception. But it will be hard to find them."

So there you have it, the super unlockables are confirmed. How to obtain them will not be revealed for a while after the games have been out in all countries.

Also reported is that the Gamecube will have 12 extra characters from the PS2 and X-Box versions making the total character cast 36 characters. It is not confirmed if they are available from the beginning or from unlocking but they have confirmed 12 extra characters for the Gamecube version to make up for the loss of Online play.

Enjoy looking for those SU's
