I think it is totally false information. Why do I say that? If you are in Arcade or VS modes at the character select screen, and you hit triangle on the PS2 controller it will exit you to the previous menu. No matter what other buttons you hold if you hit triangle it exits you out of the select screen. If this rumor is true (which I highly doubt) the button combo Gamespot gave is wrong.

This sounds soo awesome. But that is a good point, if u hit triangle then it exits. Maybe if u hit the others first it might work. Or when you beat the game, it might say u unlocked motaro. This sounds like its going to be very hard, im gonna have to get gameshark for this

Sigh nothing my ass, ITS TRUE, i didnt believe it but i tried it and after hours of getting my ass beat by the DK in Max i finally beat the game with ONE FIGHTER ONLY and it was JADE, then highlight scorpion and if on Vs mode pick an arena or if on Arcade ONE player mode pick your profile and it says yoru profile name then hold triangle square and R2 and this will NOT cancel you to the main menu then leave your profile thingy or arena select thingy and hold buttons and pick scorpion it works and motoro looks like shit like in his konquest picture and he rocks, BTW has anyone seen him in konquest mode maybe you can be trained by him in konquest and thats why they kept him a secret, anyway not much of a motoro fan lets see if a shokan or sareena or sektor is super unlockable.

i cant get passed the dragon king on max difficulty without continueing....BAHHH!!!!

Still waiting on pictures for proof, and if anyone's having problems, just use a gameshark to keep infinite life (even if you're an anti-cheater) try it just see if it works. (I'd do it, but I don't have the game yet)
