i beat kobra to awaken kochal... that was similar to this, but stupid scorpion is healing! that bastard

use nightwolf...and just spam charge and throw in some uppercuts...it was really easy this way.
It's Shang Tsung in Netherrealm thats impossible.

This isn't really a spoiler, and to be honest Scorpion was hard, but I found him to be much easier than some other konquest challenges (it took me weeks to beat Shang in the netherealm).
I used Kobra...in his primary stance, the combo 1,1,3,SC is great, becaue it ends with a sweep. Then you can just go quickly into his weapon stance, where he has an awesome combo. Just keep on him with that and you'll get him.

Not even.I beat Shang with Liu Kang simple,Shang Tsung is not impossible in the Netherrealm it toook me one trybeating him with Liu.
Anyways,Scorpion is not dat hard,i beated him with Nightwolf in 1 try.So keep trying and watch youll beat him someday.

It took me about 10 tries but I beat him with Mileena using a lot of teleport kicks and Ying Yueng pop-up combos. You just gotta be fast in both avoiding getting hit, and laying on the damage.

Actually with Shang in the netherealm, i destroyed him with Dairou easily. It kept giving me characters I was terrible with, then it gave me Dairou, who I had never once played as, and I beat the crud out of Shang in one shot. After weeks of trying the character I used the least was the one who did it for me, ha.

Someone actually asked the same question before in another post. I will tell you, what I told them. I found something that seems to work against Scorpion and other players. The key, first off, is that you have to be good at getting the combo's out. Secondly, right after you knock the opponent down, walk over next to them and as soon as they get up, side step out of the way to avoid their attack (timing is important here). Then repeat the process. This will work as long as they don't keep on doing the combo breaker on you. Anyway, give it a shot and you will see what I mean. It will get easier to beat him and other difficult players by doing this. There are a couple of other things that I found that work against certain players but I feel too lazy to post it all (again). Just remember to look for trends in the game play. You will start to find tricks that work to your advantage to win. Good luck!

First time I beat konquest was with Mileena
Then I almost did it with Noghtwolf, but Baraka was used for the 2nd time I bet Konquest.. its hard thats true!

the key is not to bother with huge combos... the same applies for shang or kira or kobra.. do what the other guy said earlier... knock down sidestep and hammer. use quick and damaging combos cos scorp heals so quickly. lucky his AI is not too high. use someone like baraka, who is quick and damaging. use blades combos. do not use defensive people like sub.

set it on novice and fight him with bo rai cho (yeah thats right bo rai cho) throw him switch to drunken fist and mash the f*ck out of attack one until you win it will take a while but thats how i beat it, it was the last thing i needed to unlock in the krypt

Switch the game difficulty to Novice in the main menu and try again. This setting affects Konquest as well.

Shang (in the Netherrealm) was harder for me, probably only because I attempted to beat him the first time I met him, which was at the beginning of Konquest when I only had Bo Rai Cho and Sub-Zero 'morphs'

Yea, I beat Shang the first time I encountered him. To me he was easy. As for Scorpion, I used Ermac and just did the short but powerful combo. I think it's like back square then X. That's how I beat him.

Well, I personally used Sub-Zero (I always liked him more than Scorpion ). One thing to seriously remember is to sidestep sidestep sidestep! It sounds simple, but it works wonders.
If you manage to knock him down, stand right next to him and sidestep right before he completely gets up. In my experiences, he would start an attack 95% of the time. Just sidestep his first move and unleash your favorite combo. Personally, I like Sub-Zero's double style branch combo that ends with a downward sword strike. If you go into practice mode, try out all the combos for whichever character you wanna use to see what does the most damage.
btw, anyone know if it's possible to choose who Shujinko morphs into at all?
