this thread is for the posting of the chests that have 1000 koins in it or more
the only 1 i have found is a chest in the Netherrealm that has 1k onyx koins.
here are directions from town - as you leave the gates of town, hug the right wall. pretty soon you will see a squared notch inlet in the wall. meditate there. at 10:00 PM - 11:00 pm there is a creature there; talk to him. best method is to meditate and as soon as clock hits 9pm stop because it takes a lil bit to slow down and i kept missing it lol
please post any more chests out there, and hope this helps :D

could you be more specific? Grid letter and number would help a lot. And what does the creature look like? Maybe he is Koloch that you awaken by beating Kabal, Kobra, Kira. I know that after I beat them and went in through the red portal that was created, there was a chest right outside the main portal with 1,000 Onyx koins.

listen this thing is like 15 seconds on the outside of town. leave the gate and head right. keep the wall on your right. in like 15 seconds you will run into a square-shaped "niche" in the wall you will know it when you see it. there is nobody there. meditate and at 10 o clock someone will be there. you are trying to make it a lot more complicated than it is. edit the "niche" is in e-8 and it also has a skeleton in it

Yes.From outside the gate hug the right wall,follow it to dead end.Then go left a teeny bit and you will see a mini cave with a dead skeleton in the cave.At 10:00 pm Meat will show up and give you 1000 Onyx coins.
