For those that don't like the idea of doing the stage fatality in one round and the opponent is up again just put it on one round.

If the options are like MKDA, you wont be able to put it at one round. Min rounds was 2, max was 3 in MKDA.

I just find it silly that you can knock someone into a deathtrap and they are ready to go next round.

Also, is anyone else concerned that it seems like some of the arenas are too small and that it is too easy to knock people off?

I wish that the death traps where just stage fatalities like in the old mk games.

I disagree! I think death traps are 100 times better then Stage Fatalities

They're basically just ring-outs with extra flavor. You knock someone off of a stage in SoulCalibur and they magically appear back in the ring for round 2,3,4,5.... Even though the fall would have killed them and they'd have to have the energy and stupidity to climb back up.

It is a little strange, I seen where the concern is, but if you think about it, every character in MK has been killed a billion + times already. You pull off a Fatality and back to the Select Screen and you're back to kill him AGAIN.
EDIT: It would be nice if the options for DEATH TRAPS allowed you to select OFF, Any round, or Final round ONLY (which would mean if you already had a win then you could use the death trap but the other person couldn't if it was only round 2 and they hadn't gotten a win yet.)

Yep, they mention deathtraps and stage fatalities.
I hope that there is realy a difference between them. Because we don't see a stage fatal yet!

Yeah i saw that so does that mean what i think it does stage fatalities will be back like in old mk.If so i will be so pleased. The deathtraps seem like there going to get annoying after awhile like doing combos wouldnt really help much when you or your opponent can just be cheap and just keep pushing them off the stage thats how i see it but ill give it a chance.

With al the new content that has been shown to us today still no sign of the original stage fatalities. I guess they just leave it with deathtraps. Anyway we can't complain if there won't be any stage fatals, because this game is shaping up so damn nice!

if your playing against a friend or someone who you can trust, just agree to not use the death traps until the final round.

i'll most likely do that when im playing against some of my online friends.
