Stage Select would be nice

The only MK game that had this option was MKTrilogy, by highlighting Sonya and pressing UP + Start (for the PSX I'm not sure about the N64).


I would love for MK:Deception to have this option back. Especially after seeing that backgrounds from previous MK games will make a return only in Chess mode. Perhaps some of the backgrounds could be unlocked somehow? I really want to have a 1 on 1 battle in arcade mode in the Courtyard, Portal, etc. It would also work for Online. Please include this feature MK Team!

They had stage select in MKDA. So They will most likely have it in Deception

The only thing is, those chess backgrounds dont fit with the arcade's story. I would like to see them selectable in vs mode and online play though.

You're right about MKDA I forgot about that. But that was only in VS. mode, I want it for Arcade mode as well.

No it can't be selectable in arcade mode,remember you gotter fight someone in their own arena.

I don't think that theres any fighting game that lets you choose the stage in arcade mode without a code

I wouldn't consider the bosses in the category of character specific. They'll always be character specific. I don't think that's what this thread is referring to.

Yeah but in MKtrilogy no matter what stage you selected, the boss fight would still be at their own stages. That's how it could be done for MKD.

Actually there are character specific arenas they just don't push for them in MK the ice palace being subzeros, the netherealm inb UMK3 being scorpions etc.

Goddamnit.

Character specific arenas = a certain character will always be on that arena. This excludes boss characters.
