ive done alot of thinking about this (ive missed abit of news so if this has already been announced forgive thread can be closed then)
since we are going to have xboxlive (and the ps2 version, im going to get xbox version this time round) i was wondering wouldnt it be cool if you could downwload stuff for konquest and the normal game
new fighting styles
new arena's
new characters (this one probaly wont happen)
more special mooves (for custom characters)
new fatalities
classic mortal kombats
and if your good enough maybe you could dl the best custom character (i mean created by midway)
i was thinking how long does xbox dl content usually come out after the game is released? and then whats the average release of new stuff?
the reason im asking this is cause im gettin broadband/dsl put on and i recently bought xbox live (yes i bought it for mkd)
also i no this is kinda off topic but i thought i would ask while im on a roll here how does the xbox live tournaments work?

it was confirmed in the gameinformer.com interview i think.

They wouldn't have downloadable content for X-box if the PS2 can't download also. They'd be wasting their time because way more people buy PS2 games than X-box (That is a fact) The only way you can download with PS2 is with HDD and they never said anything about having to use HDD for Deception and I'm positive that wouldve been announced already.
