Was there ever a final word in regards to a GameCube release for MK:D?

I remember it was was all-systems go, then no, and then "ummm, we're not sure" and then nothing since then.

Unless I've missed something. Anybody know what the final word was?

last i heard it was only comin out for ps2 and xbox because of somethign about GC not bein able to go online...

There was mention of a GC version in the works (E3 interview I believe), but whether or not it does eventual becomes available there is no final word. If it does become available, it will most likely be released later than the PS2 and X-box versions.

If it is released for nintendo gamecube it will come out after the x-box and ps2 versions are released. Though I highly doubt that it will happen, if the fans complain enough they will eventually get their wish.
