What do you think?

Yes, Shujinko will have fighting styles chosen by the player. What I'm thinking is this: For the characters who have those styles, certain button combinations lead to a style shift: (I'm going my MKDA info) Ex. In Shotokan, 1,2,4 leads to 5. Say you wanted to make your second style Pi Gua. A Pi Gua combo finisher would be 2,1 after 5.

So my question is this: Could the game engine splice those two strings together, creating 1,2,4,5,2,1.

Now I've already seen a complication and have already come up with a solution for it: Some style branch combos end in a pop-up or a bounce - ex. in Xing Yi -> Aikido 1,1,2,5. I say let it be the same bounce move, regardless of what style you ultimately end up in.

My point is that I see all combos having "sticky ends" , beginning and ending with the "5" button, which can be pasted together - provided the CPU will allow it. Again I ask: What do you think?

Ed Boon said in the fan interview at E3 that Shujinko WILL be able to do style branches. Here's the quote from the interview:

Scott-Howell: Alright, Question #9 comes from James in Massachusetts, "The monks that we get to create in MK: Deception, will they be able to do branch style combos, like say if I give my monk Tai Kwan Do, Hapkido, and the Staff, will I be able to do a branch combo between those three different styles?"

Ed Boon: Yes, right now our plan is whatever three fighting styles you choose, you'll be able to branch between in and out of each style.
