I remember somebody named "8deadman" (sp?) saying to figure out how to do the little "present/gift" animation in Puzzle Kombat (were your fighter gives a present to the opponent) amd do it when the bird flies by in the "Hell' Foundry" level in order to unlock an SU or something...
But then again, he might just be lying...

That's interesting, I hadn't heard that theory. I see the present thing happen all the time but I've never concentrated on it enough to see what triggers it. My daughter does it all the time so it can't be that difficult. I'll practice with it tonight and see if I can figure it out.

there are no SU puzzle fighters... the extra characters you've seen are just shells, which are obtained through gamesharks and/or other cheat devices
the present everyone is talking about is an animation for every character... i think it's a wink at friendships... anyways, one character gives another a present but it turns out to be a bomb and explodes in their face... this is nothing... it does not unlock anything
there are no super unlockables
