Does this indicate that is could be the spectre of his brother? This explains his long hair, baldness, and his new "glowing white" eyes. What do you think?

This could also be one of the reason Scorpion has returned, because he had a vendetta against the original Sub Zero.
EDIT: This could also be a concept for "Deception", everyone thinking Sub Zero has become evil or something.

The MKDe Sub-Zero is the same of MKDA:

-No Scar? Surely it has been cured to him by the effects of the Lin Kuei's amulet.
-More aged? Like before, it is due to the effects of the amulet.
-"Glowing Eyes"? Only in the render, in the in-game pics, Sub-Zero has the normal eyes.
-Old "Classic" Sub-Zero died with 35 years.

Please, no more threads about the MKDeception Sub-Zero is the Old "Classic" Sub-Zero, is the Younger Brother, the same of MKDA.

Before DA came out, a promo pic of Sub in his alternate outfit lacked a scar, and had glowing eyes. Lot's of people were saying stuff like "OMG itz teh frist SuB-ZeRo. Teh pwnerzzzzz!!! OMG WTF LOL!!!". It turned out to be the younger SZ. So why couldn't boon and company do the same thing this time, to "decieve" us.

So that's the consensus, the amulet has given Sub Zero crazy new outfits and has made his hair grow long and has healed the scar that has defined him since MK3?

I hope it is the first Sub Zero but we'll have to wait and see.

This confirmed by a member of the MKStaff that the amulet is the cause of which Sub-Zero ages so quickly (not this confirmed that also is due to the amulet that the mark/scar has been cured, but seems most logical)

And the "crazy" new outfits... he would be interesting to know whereupon storyline appears Sub-Zero in the MKDeception, I am sure that when we know this, we will include/understand its new look.

i think that that would be a perfect deception ever one is so used to thinking of sub zero as a good guy.and who ever said that the amulet helped heal his scar tha amulet only makes you age and make you stronger it doesnt heal your wonds.not to mention his new costum has a shreeder type look to it and shreeder was the main bad guy in teeenage mutant ninja turtles.

Well, remember, Sub Zero hates the Lin Kuei outfit, and only wore it to honor his elder brother. I imagine now that he runs the Lin Kuei he's changing their garb design and wears whatever he wants.

Classic Sub Zero won't return good. He is pure evil.

Wrong. He's neutral. It is a mercenary, it fulfills missions, without mattering to him as they are the intentions.

Sub-Zero the 5th is not evil, he wasn't good, but he wanted to save the innocent lives the Lin Kuei did not order him to kill. If anything, he is loyal.

The more and more I see this game develope, the more and more I'm beggining to doubt myself. Pi Gua and Goriryu (I think that's it)? Sub-Zero would know about 50 styles, but I think changing both is a bit strange. Not to mention the blue seems darker this time around. What really gets me is the Pi Gua stance. I'm pretty sure they wanted a cat/dog, equal/equal, rival/rival thing going with Scorpion in MK1. Scorps and Subs fighting styles in this game are looking pretty similiar. I wouldn't be surprised to see nunchaku, Broadsword, or some kind of medievil looking ancient weapon (like blades tied to each other like nunchaku) to take Kori Blade's place.

I wouldn't say he's evil. Just play MKM:Sub-Zero and U will know. Although I think Shinomune may has a good point - he could be neutral. Besides, there was lots of threads 'bout this before. Here's recent.
