I am a die hard fan and have played this since kindergarden and became a master at this by beating older guys my age and i have to truly say this is an odd idea but yet it keeps me guessing on what the actual gameplay will be like. Mortal kombat needs a fighting change and maybe this will offer some good fighting engine that will be a start for the MK generation. The trailer looked interesting and my friends and i are like we wanna see some more gameplay footage. Hopefully the levels look good and dark,mystic, and dirty like the mk 2 days. Yes no fatlities but hopefully finishers at least prove to be acceptable plus with blood in the game is some relief from it being g rated.

Yes i wanted a real mortal kombat but damn i don't wanna wait another two-three years to play as sub-zero and other characters, so fuk it i'll play it and just wait for the next true mk game to be released at all its glory........
