Regardless of whatever people seem to think about the Sub-Zero situation, it has already been confirmed that the MKD Sub-Zero is the same Sub-Zero we've seen since MK2; the younger brother of the MK1 Sub-Zero. There are even MKD renders of Sub-Zero with the scar intact. The Dragon Medallion already explained his aged appearance in MKDA. In fact, I think this thread should be closed, because this is basically rewriting a thread that's been posted a shitload of times already.

i agree.

But the dragon medalion is a bullshit excuse.

I said that this subzero is a lot thinner and lost all his hair but still grew a ft long pony tail by the time DA ended. It doesnt make sense. Say what you want but no medalion can make up for that.

in the last mk i will give u the fact that in the EARLY renders he had no scar but weve seen more screen shots and everything with no scar this time, and that weve already heard some of his pro and it ses hes the same returning from mkda, but this could be the biggest deception, maybe subby from mk1 is back to kill someone and is descized as his brother. dont close it im just saying i may have a deception theory here, dont close it cuz u disagree.i have more evidence i just cant remember.

Growing a ponytail and getting paler skin hardly sounds like a difficult feat for a Chinese guy who can turn caucasian at will.

the dragon medalion gives u strength in return for youth....and some1 confirmed that subbys scar will be the last thin added.

I think ppl are going to far into something this small. Midway says there putting the scar back in eventually.

I'm confident that we'll be playing with 'lil bro Sub-Zero'..though I agree that 'Elder brother Sub-Zero' is much cooler. I took an immediate liking to him..while his it took 'lil bro' all the way to Deadly Alliance to gain my favor..

~Doesn't matter who performs the "ice clone" technique though...I think it is CRAP either way *dumb idea..usefull..but really stupid looking*

This is the third MK game in a row that they add Sub-Zero's scar at the last minute. Proof that they'll likely add it at the last minute?

They did it with MKDA.

They did it with MK4. Anyone remember the MK4 Road Tour and Revision 1 in the arcades? No scar for Sub-Zero. They added the scar in Revision 2.

lol, good one. But I can't put the blame on Sub. It's not his fault John Tobias has no problem with discarding important plot elements.

D'Arque Bishop, a staff member of this site spoke with Midway, and Vogel confirmed that Subzero will ultimately have the scar. There is even a pic of Sub WITH the scar in a british magazine.

And enough of the Classic Subzero threads. Really, this is getting absurd. there has to be at least 40+ threads like this, and I have a feeling a lot more are coming. The younger Subzero has been confirmed. For quite some time now, actually. LET IT GO!

Yeah, what he said! And this thread's gonna get closed if everyone doesn't shut up about this Sub-Zero debate already. It was closed a LONG time ago!

Calling them the 5th and 6th is frickin stupid. There have only been 2 sub zeros ever even mentioned in any MK game ever. That whole story on whatever game web site is not official and just because Sub zero's father was a 4th generation lin kuei warrior does not mean he was called Sub Zero. Also, if they are brothers they are part of the same generation, not 5th and 6th.

Bottom line though, is that in all the MK games there have only been 2. Not even a word about any others. It's just The original and his younger brother. We haven't seen the original since part one.

I think that in due time, classic Sub will make a significant appearance in the MK world again.

Exactly.

People think that because in MKM I think they said something about his fater being a 4th generation lin kuei warrior. That doesn't mean he was Sub Zero.

There has never been any mention of more than 2 sub zeros in any mk game ever.

It's to much trouble to call them 'the _th'..just because it, in its own way, starts 'troulbe'

I usually refer to them as follows..

MK:M/MK:1 Sub-Zero
Original/Classic Sub-Zero
The Old Sub-Zero
(when disussing the 'Zeros') Elder brother

All other MK Sub-Zero
New/Current/younger Sub-Zero
Maskless Sub-Zero
(when disussing the 'Zeros') younger brother

~but that's just me...as stated before..I DON'T think the Original Sub-Zero will be returning in Deception
