I have been noticing there are stages I keep playing on. It was cool when I first unlocked them but now I'm starting to get irritated. I keep fighting the same people on the same stages over and over. There are people and stages I havent seen since I bought the game the first day it came out. I can't recall playing in the Chamber of Artifacts since say day 2. Cant recall fighting Raiden since I unlocked Tanya who I always play, usualy on the Cortyard.Nightwolf mostly plays on Kang's Tomb but every once and a while pops up on the porthole.
It may be better in 2 player and online but I've never played anyone before. I lead a sad sheltered existance without the compantionship of fellow gamers. Where Broadband is just a dream.

Yeah, I've noticed this. When I first saw that the Pit was in the game I played and played Arcade mode trying to get a double flawless fatality in the Pit thinking that it might unlock something, or at least would be a cool bit of nostalgia. However, I've never played in the Pit on Arcade mode. Also, I found out that if you play as one character, beat Arcade mode and then restart it with the same character, you will fight the exact same fighters in the exact same stages. It won't change until you change who you are using.

Yes I'd like someone to explain this.
Chamber of Artifacts and The Pit were apparently available in arcade (Kombat) mode before Konquest was started so where did they go?
The character I NEVER get to fight in Kombat is Kabal. Some others are only rare too. Sindel and Kenshi are nearly always there, usually early on.
I would appreciate it if someone could ask about this on Fight Night if we don't nobody knows how to randomise it all better now.

There is no true randomness to it. Try picking a different character, if need be you can pick one just to start the arcade mode and switch back to your normal. Also difficultly level seems to have some, but little effect on this. DA's 'randomness' was also like this. Man do I hate it. furious

I wonder if they did something stupid like use the random seed based on the character you pick. When programing the random numbers you get are based on a seed number you select when the program starts up. If you always use the same number you always get the same set of "random" numbers. Every single time. The general rule is to set the seed number using the system time which is different every time you play.
