Take the risk to loose a big/little amount of koins when you do a "Hari Kari"

It could make people forget about killing themselves all the time and not letting you do a fatality.

Sometimes, the player who kills himself, could loose like, 3 or 50 koins...but others even a 1000!

It would all depend on the game and if you decide to take the risk. It would be fun! And maybe, the koins you loose WOULD be reward (when played online or with a partner) to the other opponent.

You pay for being a coward!

I can't wait to see self-disembowlment on my screen. It'll be a mad race to see who gets to do the finishing move. I don't care about koins, are they even going to be incorporated into the game?

Good ideas Queve. I'm starting to like the suicide idea. A penalty for using it would be good! 1000 koins seems like a good amount! If they went to the other palyer though, really, they've still won in a way. But it's still a good idea.

Thanks. I just think it would be better to punish the one who takes you the right of tasting his blood!

I imagine the act of suicide will be a punishment for the victor of the match because he/she was too slow in their efforts to perform a fatality.
So, in essence a small victory may be granted to the match's loser if they are quick enough.

I definitely can't agree with this idea. Payment for being a coward? This must be some misunderstanding. Coward doesn't commit a suicide to die with dignity. He rather runs away or begs for mercy. Besides, it's not like you're doing it in the middle of the round.
Quote: "Self-inflicted fatalities that you can perform to deny your opponent the satisfaction of killing you. Once the word 'Finish Him!' appear it will be a race to see who's got the fastest fingers." Unquote.
That's what it is and I think it's great. The idea to give looser a chance to retain his honor. In any case let's be honest, most people don't like to watch a fatality being performed on their character. And we can't forget that MK:D is still in development and many things can change. But I believe they will come up with something good.

P.S. I'm pretty sure they meant 'harakiri' not 'hari kari' since 'hara' means 'stomach' and 'kiru' means 'to cut'. Simply - disembowelment.

thats a great idea, cuz if u win u have the right to finish ur op. the way u want. or at least know that hes gonna be punished for his/her suicide.

ps if there is no punishment to the other guy or take away koins of the winner i will just finish the op with a punch

Lose koins for performing harakiri? Wouldn't it be better if there were some kind of incentive to do it?
Not that I care though, because I think the whole notion of suicide moves is pretty dumb. I mean, I'm not exactly bothered by them, but I doubt I'll be using them very often. The highlight of every match is (or should be, rather) the Fatality - regardless of who's performing it, IMO. So what if it's my character getting his heart ripped out? It doesn't look any less cool. Deliberately robbing myself of the chance of seeing fatalities makes no sense to me, unless the suicide moves are like, 10 times as cool... Something I sincerely doubt.

Oh well, different strokes for different folks, I guess. A lot of people on this forum seem to be really excited about the harakiri moves.

I dont like the idea of justification for suicide. Just have the Hara Kiri in or take it out, no strings attached.
