I don't know if this was already pointed out or not, but i'm posting it anyway. If there was already a thread about this matter, feal free to close this one, but please inform me of such action.

I do not own Mortal Kombat Armageddon, for a variety of reasons, but recently i thought of something that might be interesting: Taven's face dragon tatoo is surely based on the facial tatoos that the Black Dragon Grandmasters had in Mortal Kombat Conquest.

I mean...

Taven from Mortal Kombat Armageddon (Daegon's facial tatoo is similar, but on the other side of his face)

Bannak (former Grandmaster of the Black Dragon clan)
from Mortal Kombat Conquest

And Kebral (Bannak's son, and leader of the clan after his father's death)

This is quite strange, because Daegon also has this kind of facial tatoo, and yet he formed the Red Dragon Clan, plus is and always was the Red Dragon Clan's Grandmaster, while Bannak and Kebral, though non-canonical MK characters, were both Grandmasters of the Black Dragon Clan centuries ago.

Maybe Midway used these tatoos in Armageddon as a homage to the series... or maybe not (most probably not).

Probably a coincidence.

The whole story of the Red Dragon clan (how it states that the Black Dragon clan was a group of Red Dragon that rebelled against them and formed their own clan, THIS CENTURY) completely contradicts what MK Conquest did, by stating that the Black Dragon clan was around centuries ago. Mentioning or referencing any of the MK Conquest Black Dragon characters in the game would make no sense, and only serve to highlight the contradiction.
