MK:D is coming soon... in what might be six different versions.
X-Box: special edition
X-Box: regular edition
PS2: special
PS2: regular
Gamecube: special (?)
Gamecube: regular

I don't have an X-Box, so I can throw those two out, and I'm interested in the PS2 special edition. But, then again, I wanted it original for my small, black GCN, and the 'extra' content interests me, since I've never been an online guy (too cheap), but if the Gamecube doesn't have a special edition DVD content option, I'll go with the PS2. Anyone else here getting a headache at the Midway MK promotional versions? And I thought it was tough between Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time gold cart or grey. Fatality.

Seeing as you only have PS2 and GC, I'd go with the PS2 Premium Package, since it's out on October 4 and you are guaranteed an extra DVD with MK1, videos, bios, the trading card and the limited edition cover.

With the GC version you will have to wait 5 months and you're taking a gamble, that is if you're interested in MK1. The GC version is a long way from now anyway, so chances are you can get the PS2 version, enjoy it, then come March 2005 buy the GC version as well.

I'll be getting the standard Ps2 version. I don't have an X-Box or Cube, and I didn't want to pay more for the special edition.
