The DK's death

I think Baraka, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, or someone evil will try to take over the MK tournament or whatever everyone is still doing in Mortal Kombat

Huh I doubt that. I think the DK will last a few games or there will be another boss. Or shao Kahn will come back lol. Like he's still alive. Also Mortal Kombat hasn't been a tournament for awhile it's all been just attemps of taking over Earth Realm and breaking the Rules.

Isn't it official that the DK is gonna be the last boss?
ok, perhaps the DK is the last boss... but what does that mean? he could be the last boss and still last (bad... no pun) a couple games...
if you go storywise, Shao Kahn was a boss up until MK4... but I supposed if you go gameplay wise, no boss has lasted more than 2 games (shao again in MK2-MK3) Shang Tsung, Shinnok and the DA got 1 game a piece.
idk, I always found the sub-bosses to be cooler than the actual bosses in MK... maybe with the exception of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi in DA, but then again, they didn't seem as special as previous bosses as they were selectable from the start.

you bring up an interesting point Raiden_is_god... only the first 2 games were actually tournaments... maybe if the Dragon King takes over or after he is defeated by a good warrior, the MK universe will become structured once more. This is wishful thinking, but what if MK (with the coming of new consoles and technology) finally gets the fighting system overhaul a lot of fans seem to want?
Or perhaps the tournament will be reinstated, with an emphasis and ties into online games and this new customizable character feature. I think that would be tight, to create ur own character (from a template similar to Shujinko) and choose an existing character's moves and maybe customize a fatality... anywaze, this is all fairly doubtful, but I think it would be cool

What's the matter, James? No glib remark? No pithy comeback?
