Thanks to TRMK (Go there if you want to see the commands), we now know exactly what state the Kreate-A-Fatality system was in during E3.

(I have listed the Fatalities that were performable, for easy reference on this site. I apologise if this has already been done as there are a lot of Fatality threads, but I feel this one is more of a reference thread. I also apologise to TRMK if I'm not allowed to relay this information in this way.)

STARTERS:

KNEE 2 HEAD
FACE SLAP
GUT PUNCH
SPIN KICK
GROIN KICK
HEART RIP
BRAIN RIP
RIB RIP
THIGH RIP
ARM RIP
DOUBLE ARM RIP

ENDER: HEAD RIP
ENDER: NECK SNAP
ENDER: SPINE RIP
ENDER: HEAD SMASH
ENDER: TORSO RIP
ENDER: SWORD DECAPITATE

WHILE HOLDING OPPONENT'S ARM:
SMACK HIM WITH HIS OWN ARM
ENDER: ARM DECAPITATE

WHILE HOLDING OPPONENT'S 2 ARMS:
SMACK HIM WITH HIS 2 ARMS
ENDER: TWO ARM DECAPITATE

TRANSITION HIM TO ANOTHER DIZZY:
DOWN KNEES TWO HANDS
DOWN KNEES ONE HAND
TURN AROUND

OPPONENT TURNED AROUND:
TURN BACK AROUND
BACK SNAP
KNEE TO THE BACK (It's not an ender?)
ARM BREAK
BRAIN RIP
NECK BREAK

OPPONENT ON KNEES:
NECK BREAK
RIGHT PUNCH
LEFT PUNCH
FACE KICK
ENDER: NECK SNAP
ENDER: DECAPITATE (SWORD)

(The first of the character specific fatalities?)
WITH SWORD (SCORPION/SUB-ZERO ONLY):
SWORD DRAW
ARMSLICE LEFT
ARMSLICE RIGHT
IPALE SWORD CHEST
IMPALE SWORD GUT

This list interested me when I saw it as it showed that many of the moves were contructed, that is "When in X stance" moves.
Also, Sub-Zero and Scorpion have special sword commands that are exclusive.

It has been stated that this is far from what the final amount of attacks will be, but still; it's some scale already!

Comments?

That seems definate, they aren't going to do stuff like this by half-measures.

I'm just updating, cause I really wanted to ask a question with this thread:

What moves do YOU want to see in the fatality system and what should they change about the system as it is?

My take:

The brain rip as it is should be dropped. Instead the brain rip should be done from the opponent on knees stance just like Johnny's MKDA Brain Rip. Just like that version, it should have the blood washing down the opponent and the brain should be soaked and dripping with blood when it is pulled out. Gross! The brain should then be disrespectfully discarded.

At any rate, it needs to be an ender.

The heart rip can more or less stay as it is, but for people who want to finish with a heart rip, it should be modified with a "when holding opponent's heart stance". The heart can then be shoved back the opponent's face knocking them over and giving you a Fatality, or if you want to continue with the attacks, you can input the next move you want and the heart will be dropped as the move is performed, just like the arm rip stance works currently.

As for character specifics, I can very much see this constructed stance system working well with Sub-Zero. For example:

When you have put your opponent in the back turned stance, you can grab their head and freeze it. After doing this a number of ender options are open to you...

You can give the opponent a little sarcastic chuck on the back of the head, where they then fall straight forwards smashing their frozen head to pieces.
Or you could plunge Sub-Zero's arm into the back, rip the head off on the spine, and then holding the head by the spine end, turn and smash the frozen head on the ground with great force.

There would also be the full body freeze and shatter from MK2. Along with the spine rip and these type of moves Sub is set to go.

No, I never said I hated it. I said that it needed moves like back breaks and neck snaps (which it now has!). I don't think it will be truly complete until it has character specifics either.

I just want to have an atomic back breaker. If you can't finish the opponent with a good old back over knee, then I will be disappointed. It should be like that hilarious scene, in that overly hilarious move; Solo (Also, used by Seagal in something like Marked For Death).

COLONEL: (picked up and held parallel to Solo's shoulders)
"Think about it Solo - How will you feel if you kill me?"

SOLO:
"Good question. Let's find out!"

*smashes the colonel's back over his knee followed by over-dramatic synth music equivalent to Mk*

Anyway...

yessssssssssss, that will be great. its bad enough the guy got his arm ripped off, but now you impale him with it.

one thing i would want to see in the character trademark move set, is a levitation option.

The teleknetic levitation input could act as a dizzy trasition, like how you bring the enemy to their knees.

Ermac can have his slams from this set, like a weak slam and a power slam to use as an ender, as well as rips and stuff

Kenshi can have only a weak slam, but he can have all his telekentic limb and body breaks like from his MK:da fatality. plus bring back the eye pop.

Shang sung can have all his soul stealing moves from the levitation move set.

i think that woul be cool for some character to have.

That's what I want to hear - cool ideas about how this stance system and the character specifics should work!

In fact...

SUB-ZERO:

(as I said before) would have 4 specific fatality enders. He can freeze the opponent into a solid ice statue, and then either initiate his rip off the head and throw back sequence from MKD, or do a simple uppercut shatter for a remake of the MK2 Fatality.
When the opponent is facing away you can freeze the head of the opponent putting them in another dizzy state. A little prod to the back off the head will knock them over to shatter, or you can do a frozen-head spine rip, and then Sub-Zero will smash the head on the floor using the leverage of holding the spine. There, four specific enders for Subs.

(Of course, the spine rip works nice enough for him as well!)

SCORPION:

Scorpion can remove the opponent's arm (or arms) or leg with his spear and then continue the sequence (This way you can remake his MKD Fatality by doing the neck snap at the end), and/or he can do his ender, which is where he gives his opponent a sharp backhand, knocking them to the floor. He then takes off his mask and rapidly toasts the opponent to a crisp with a randomized Dan Forden sound effect. This should work well enough for Scorpion.

JAX, KOBRA, JOHNNY CAGE, DARRIUS, etc...:

All appear to have their fatalities in the generic moves anyway. Hopefully they'll allow Cage and Kobra to end with heart and brain rips respectively.
Cage also has his torso rip in the moves list. Jax has the arm rips and head smash as does Darrius and other less specific fatality characters.

GORO, KINTARO, SHEEVA:

Stomps? Multi-limb rip? Pick up and beat?

MILEENA, KITANA, and JADE:

Sai and bite attacks, fan and kiss of death, and bojutsu impalement.

SHAO KAHN:

He only needs one: the hammer smash. Simply pulls out his hammer and smashes your head into fragments.

SHANG TSUNG:

Soul steal of course.

ERMAC, KENSHI:

I like those stance ideas.

SHINNOK:

He only needs one: a skeleton hand ender

...

Any more?
