If you the Kollector's Edition or Premium Pack of MKD, and read Reptile's bio in his video "trading card," you know that, as idiotic as many of us thought the idea was, Reptile's ending is indeed true: he is the Dragon King.

Now, this raises the question: What does the future hold for everyone's favorite Zaterran? If an ending such as Shujinko's or Scorpion's comes to pass, and Onaga dies a violent death, does that mean Reptile's dead too? Or does the Dragon King's "essence" simply die, leaving Reptile unharmed, and returning him to his old form (be it his MKDA lizard form or his MK2 ninja form)?

Here's an idea I had for his MK7 plot: Onaga is defeated, and sort of killed, but Reptile's mind is still alive, and takes over, and the body reverts back to Reptile's form (whichever form, doesn't matter). But because he still has Onaga's heart, which has the power to raise the dead, he decides to resurrect his extinct race, and take back Earthrealm, its original home before Man displaced the species.
