I know that IGN released the Fable review 2 weeks before the game came out and Gamespot did it a few days later. Also IGN has been giving exclusive reviews for games that have not shipped yet, so I'm hoping to see the review soon from IGN since it has covered MKD extensively.

^^true.....while i do take reviews into consideration.....it usually doesn't stop me from getting games i find interesting....and if they suck...well than at least i got to experience it instead of someone else telling me it sucked

I like to read it to get a confirmation on characters and gameplay etc. Also itis nice to see what others give it compared to MK:DA's score. And it also comes with vids and screens.
EDIT: I predict a.....9.2

I think that IGN might like MKD more than Gamespot, so far what I've seen about IGN they always give higher scores than Gamespot. Gamespot is harder to impress.

yeah gamespot is very hard to impress, but it gave deadly alliance an 8.1, so deception will definitely be higher than that.

Well, I don't know it depends a lot on who reviews the game. However, I predict a 9 or 9.2 from IGN and a 8.6 or 8.9 from Gamespot. I haven't played the game myself so I'm not sure about my predictions.

I agree with the majority it will score high 8's-mid 9's. But I think that if MK:D is in fact just MKDA with more features then Gamespot will hit MK a little harsh. Because I've yet to see any work done to the mediocre combo system, although I haven't followed MKD as extensively as some people here. I hope someone corrects me on this...

wow, lots of optimism on the reviews predictions. I'm glad. I think we'll see IGN's review by the weekend, but that's just a guess. That said, I think IGN will give MK:D an 8.9 or a 9.0. I think Gamespot will follow sometime early next week somewhere between 8.3 and 8.6. I'm hoping for higher at IGN, but I'm not expecting much from Gamespot. They're WAY too snooty.
