Except Scorpion's not Champion of the Elder Gods anymore. He quit because the Elder Gods "betrayed" him...so now he wants revenge on them.

The Scorpion/Sub-Zero rivalry doesn't need an epic finale because it's already ended. Twice.
Even if Scorpion were to remain their Champion and Sub-Zero's ending were to occur, my interest in seeing the their rivalry start YET AGAIN is precisely dick.

What they should do is that since Scorpion wants revenge on the Elder gods and they dont' want Sub-Zero as a god! Then Scorpion and Sub-Zero should team together and go after the Elder Gods.
Maybe have Raiden and or Fujin as sub-bosses.

With the mess that was the "conclusion" of MKA, who knows what will happen.

But if the route of Sub-Zero vs. Scorpion is taken one more time, then why even bother with the series anymore?

Seriously, Boon & Co. have lost most, if not all, creativity residing in their minds.

scorp/sub was faught twice, once as new recruits, something to due with quan chi's deceipt, and sub killed scorpion, then in the mk1 tourney, scorp pwned sub. they both died, both became tainted i guess in one way or another, technically, so if u mean scorp vs noob, that would own.(noob is the original subby from mk1) scorp and generation2 sub was because of the suspision of the lin kuei killing scorps family, and since quan chi in scorps mk4 ending revealed it was him and not the lin kuei, that nullifies any dispute between them as scorp stated in subs mk4 ending.

Scorpion doesn't care about the Elder Gods right now...he cares more about getting his son back from Quan-Chi....(assuming his ending is canon)

Why bother trying to assume his ending as the one that's canon? As far as we know, Scorpion's MKA story is about trying to get revenge on the Elder Gods for fucking him over in their deal, that's it.

I honestly forgot about that story, about how the elder gods betrayed Scorpion. I didn't realize it until I played through Konquest mode again (got all 60 Relics second time through! Yay!). But nobody knew about the elder gods recent betrayal until Scorpion told it to Taven in Edenia. I wonder why that is. And why would they make Scorpion more mad than he already is? I don't get it. First his family, then his own murder (plus the number of times he's already been killed), and now this. Scorpion has a good reason for being pissed off this time.

Eh, nah, How about Scorpion vs Noob or Scorpion vs Quan Chi?

It's simply due to the fact that not all of the bios have been released. We pretty much know Scorpion's story anyway. He half-assed his task and therefore got what he deserved. Unfortunately, he's still a jackass that goes looking for trouble.



Scorpion vs. Quan Chi should be happening in Armageddon and should NOT continue on to the next-gen. As for Scorpion vs. Noob Saibot, if the rivalry is done correctly, then yes, I'd like to see it. If not, forget it.

It's greatly doubtful that Scorpion knows Noob Saibot's former identity.

He's pissed about that but before they canned the bios, we learned that quite a lot were indeed canon so assuming Scorpion's is no different, we clearly see he's more concerned with getting Quan-Chi as well as his son back in the process.

It mentions nothing of him wanting revenge on Elder Gods in his ending.

We'll see what happens.

When was it said that a lot of the endings are canon? I've never heard that before, and that doesn't make sense considering the "what-if" nature of MKA's endings.

because i would love to play a game based on scorpion

they should make it like assassin's creed where you can walk around and such and torture people too

and since all the mk ninja's are so popular out of all the mk cast series
and make all games based on all the mk ninja's
considering they are raised for the popularity


it would be one sick ass game


and maybe put in a mk character creator
so that people can create their own story line...

the only interesting fight id like to see is scorp vs noob since quan chi always gets shit kicked by scorpion. since both noob and scorp are both ghosts they can have a never ending rivalry and since noob is the orginal sub zero theres a place to start. and it would be neat to see a wraith vs specter fight. vs (noob) (no noob smiley)

Scorpion vs Noob would be killer, but only if it lasts through one game. They basically already had their feud and it doesn't need to escalate. A mini rivalry for one game would be perfect for nostalgic purposes. However it would be awesome to see them team up in an odd twist of fate. As far as Sub-Zero vs Scorpion goes, very outplayed and no longer relevant, seeing as to how their feud ended pretty much during the MK4 era.

When did it say that they're not? Either way we'll find out which ones were canon and which weren't...
