Lui was the martial arts champ right?? shunjinko learns all the martial arts and meets everyone and travels right?? So he is the champion even though he was just introduced that is the only downside. How coul dhe be it if he was just introduced but i still think it is him.

Are you JOKING? Me and DMitch just said that it's Shujinko. He gets picked by the gods, it's not because he knows ''all the martial arts''.

I think we've figured out why Scorpion is in Shujinko's Foe list. Scorpion's been working hard since MK to finally become the hero of MK and some noob comes along and takes it all away.

I’m sorry but I doubt Scorpion will ever become the hero of the saga. He just doesn’t fit for the “job”!

Any other character could take that spot and do much more, any other character who has actually done something for the world and not just for themselves.

Sub-Zero (as much as I don’t want this to happen) might be the next champ, Kung Lao (I so hope not!!! Its too predictable! He is too much like liu kang!) is the obvious choice.

Scorpion could VERY, and i mean, VERY easily have "hero" written all over him. He fits it perfect, kinda like the anti-hero type guy who does w/e he wants. He wont be the hero in MKD but he will play a massive role. I would love it though if scorpion became a hero sometime in a future MK, he matches it perfectly. However, Shujinko will be the gods hero.

But i'm dead glad that people are refering Subzero as the hero, and i can see why. I've always wanted that to happen to him, and i think it will in MKD. Either him or Kung Lao.

I agree. Scorpion has pontential to be the hero, even if it's by default because someone got in his way.

Sub-Zero has been helping out for some time now and with him taking over the clan, he seems fitting for the hero job. Subby now seems wiser and very more skilled.

Even though Shunjiko will be the hero of MKD, I don't like it.

Is everyone here out of they're minds?! Sorry abou the flame but it annoys me that people think that Scorp is the hero just because someone hinted it. Scorpian could never be the hero, he just doesn't meet the requirements. He's a psychotic ninja spectre that cares about nothing but vengeance, doesn't sound like a hero to me. He couldn't make a good anti-hero either. Just because he has a huge fanbase doesn't make him a hero, and anti-hero, or anything else. He's from Hell, 'Nuff said.

Scorpion isn't crazy. Scorpion is on a quest for vengence but also protecting Sub-Zero(this might change in MKD though). In UMK3, he decided to help the earth warriors because Subby was one of them, that doesn't sound crazy to me.

Scorpion could easily fit the anti-hero. In MKDA I think his chance was big considering he was after one of the main bosses(Quan Chi). He could have easily killed Quan Chi and became the hero even it he wasn't trying to save the day.

Shujinko was chosen by the Elder Gods. Damashi is the emissary of the Elder Gods and he is the one who told Shujinko that the Elder Gods have a quest for him.

He could have easily killed Quan Chi while they were in the Netherealm. But outside the netherealm it is not that easy for Scorps to defeat him.
