i never really thought about the MK logo dragon inspiring them with the dragon king. I think thats pretty cool though if that how they came up with the idea.

Good question.I think they got inspired by Bruce Lee's movie "Enter The Dragon".On one of Bruce Lee's poster there is a dragon symbol that looks like the MK symbol just in the opposite direction.

yeah the dragon king can easily be associated with the dragon logo, i too was thinking the similar thing.

Also, with the inclusion of Reptile, probably one of Boon's favorite characters, boon wanted to expand on the whole lizard human thing, and Goro is half dragon. It only seemed fitting that a dragon is continually used in the stories

I always thought that dragon logo was a hidden charcter in MK1.I used to think it was Shang Tsung.

I think it most likely the dragon king was influenced by the dragon logo, but they'll definitely tie it in somehow.

The Dragon Logo Has Been Used On Some One Already, And That Was Liu Kang, His Animality, A Dradog, That Also Had The Same Bend In Its Neck As In The Logo

A dragon is a classic martial arts symbol, so it seems appropriate. I just wanna know where that MK1 selection screen came from. I've never seen anything like it. Did someone make it? It has Reptile, Ermac, Tsung, and Goro on it. Is there actually a cheat for that?

I used that one cus I liked having the extras in it. I'm almost positive it's fake - I got it off www.mktemple.com
