These bios are basically my take on what I believe could happen in MKD. There is one for every character and rumoured character in the game except for Ben. Please note that these are made up and not official. Enjoy!

A special thanks to LadyRaiden, TomTaz, TemperaryUserName and Nindz for their help and support.

Those of you who get to this thread early, please refresh the page before replying as there are around 30 bios, so I'm posting them in groups of 5 for easy reading.

Li Mei:

Although she was still alive when Shang Tsung transplanted her soul into the dead body of a soldier, Li Mei finds her soul still alive and that she is still in partial control. She now fights for possession and total control over her body. However, this task is made difficult by the tasks set before her by the Deadly Alliance. She is now in constant conflict between carrying out their orders and fighting for her freedom. She must stay strong and find a way to get someone to help her.

(This would possibly help explain her two very different costumes.)

Tanya:

Tanyas home realm of Edenia was now in chaos at the sudden disappearance of their Princess. Tanya sees this as an opportunity to ensure herself a comfortable future. And the chance to ensure that Kitana would be gone forever was something she could not pass up. After learning of the possible enemies from Sindel, her plan was to help Queen Sindel in her search for her daughter and kill Kitana at the first chance she got. Firstly however, she must contact the enemy. As the daughter of the Ambassador to new realms, she had access to the portal transport she needed. Tanya would soon find that she was going to get more than she bargained for.

Sub-Zero:

The Deadly Alliance had not been defeated and it was now apparent that Sub-Zero was one of their primary targets. With the burden of watching over the injured Frost and the now known threat of the Red Dragon and now the Dragon King, Sub-Zero must be more aware of those around and those whom he trusts. Approached by Raiden once again and asked to aid Earth, Sub-Zero accepts. He must find a way to take out all the threats to the Lin Kuei and himself, as well as fight against the Red Dragon, the Deadly Alliance and the forces of the Dragon King. Little did he know, he would soon encounter the Tekunin also. Given the extremity of his task, he was going to need to seek out someone who could help him and hopefully gain an ally. But he had no idea how to track down the elusive spectre in question.

Sindel:

Sindel had been visited by Raiden and informed of the disappearance of her daughter, Kitana. He also told her that her assistance would be needed in the battle for Earth. Sindel readied the armies of Edenia and set out alongside Tanya to find her daughter. The Edenian armies were to ready for attack and defend their realm if anything happened. Any invaders or unknown guests were not to be omitted. Sindel would bring her daughter back at any cost. The Dragon King was going to feel her wrath.

Baraka:

Baraka had been angered at the loss of Mileena once again. His hatred for Kitana was unmatched. Still serving Quan, he had come to the sorcerer at his request and was told to dispose of Shang Tsung when the time was right. However, Baraka was visited by Reptile and learned of the Dragon King. Seeing Reptile once again in human form, Baraka realised the Dragon Kings power. Going to the Dragon King, Baraka watched as Mileena was revived. This was a ploy to gain Barakas allegiance. However, Baraka was not yet fully sure of whom his loyalties were for. But, he would carry out the Dragon Kings first task with pleasure Kidnap Princess Kitana.

Reptile:

As the Dragon King was reborn, Reptile had passed out due to the sheer pain he had felt. Only part of his reptilian life force was needed to restore the Dragon King. His body was left severely wounded and weakened. Upon awakening, Reptile laid eyes on the great king. Still seeking a master, Reptile pledged allegiance. For his loyalty, the Dragon King healed Reptiles wounds and restored his human shape. His first order to Reptile was to tell him all that had happened. Reptile told the king of Kahn and his defeat, Nitara, the Earth warriors and Raiden, Liu Kangs death and the Deadly Alliance. The Dragon King now knew of his enemies. Reptile was to recruit Kahns former servants, locate the Dragon Kings army and lead the DA into a trap. This would be Reptiles revenge for them killing his former master. All would pay in the end!

Smoke:

Smoke returned to Sub-Zero and the Lin Kuei, but would not reveal information on his exploits to his friend. Sub-Zero accepted that this was in his friends nature and did not ask questions. Smoke decided to ally with Sub-Zero and promised to help his friend to the end. During this time, Smoke witnessed the power of the Dragon Medallion. Maybe it could restore him back to his human form. Now wasnt the time to press on such matters. He would speak with Sub-Zero later. Now, both had to prepare for the coming battle. Smoke had returned.

Mileena:

Revived by the Dragon King as a gift for Baraka, Mileena was all too happy to be alive again. The one thing she wanted now was Kitana dead! It seemed she would get that chance to face her enemy once again. The Dragon King had ordered her to carry out a task. She must go to Earth Realm and eliminate the Earth warriors Sonya Blade and Kung Lao. Her reward the chance to kill Kitana once Baraka had captured her.

Scorpion:

After being torn apart in the soulnado, Scorpion now returns angrier, more powerful and more determined than ever. Whilst in hell, he had been granted more power and the chance to return. However, Scorpion now has a new mission. The Dragon King had been tapping into the energies of the Netherealm and had released several souls and warriors to do his bidding. However, it was clear that he was searching for something. That something being the third Oni. Unknown to many, the Oni were the key to unleashing a dark power. Releasing this power would spell the end of the Netherealm. Its legions of souls and evil beings unleashed upon the realms. As the Guardian of the Netherealm, Scorpion must find the Oni and destroy them or bring them back to the forbidden realm. Or, he could hunt down and kill the Dragon King. And of course, there was always Quan Chi to deal with later.

(I hope you Scorpion fans like what I've done with him here!)

Ashrah:
The Demon Huntress known as Ashrah had traversed the realms for many years vanquishing evil. It had come to her attention that the Oni has been freed from the Netherealm. It was her duty to ensure that they returned or destroyed. Her search for them led her to Outworld and the palace of the Sorcerer known as Shang Tsung. Unable to infiltrate the palace undetected, Ashrah has to find a new way of getting to her prey. In her travels she has come across the thunder god Raiden after so many years. Learning from him that there was to be a great battle soon, Ashrah knew that in time her prey would come to her. Then would be the time for her to strike.

Nightwolf:

Nightwolf had managed to save his tribe of people in the past from the forces of Shao Kahn. Afterwards, he had returned to them to continue their legacy. During prayer he had seen images of a coming evil and a dark time ahead for the people of Earth realm. Knowing that he could not ignore this, he ventured into prayer once more in order to contact the thunder god Raiden. Raiden eventually arrived and both traded information. It was time for Nightwolf to come to the aid of Earth realm and its people once again. His first task was to help bring the remaining Earth warriors to the meeting point Raiden had set for them. And also, aid the Demon Huntress known as Ashrah him her quest. It seemed the powers and knowledge known to his people were going to be very important against the coming enemy. Nightwolf would not fail.

Kenshi:

After his battle with Mavado, Kenshi had been left wounded, but not near death. Ermac had found him and restored him back to health. Kenshi was stranded still and had no way of contacting Sonya, Jax or the any other Special Forces member. He needed to contact them, but his first priority now had changed. He still had his own personal vendettas to settle. Firstly, he would have to find Mavado and make him pay with his own life for leaving him near death. And then there was Shang Tsung. Kenshis blade and the souls within it were hungry for revenge.

Kabal:

Hell-bent on revenge, Kabals increasing rage kept him alive. Mavado and the Red Dragon were going to feel the full extent of his anger, but first he needed to find them. His wounds had time to heal after the attack and Kabal now set about his revenge. He also felt anger against Kano. He blamed the traitor for Mavados sudden appearance and wanted his head. But then, considering that Mavado had said it was Kano that had told him of Kabals whereabouts, he had no reason not to.

Skab:

Skab had escaped from the Netherealm thanks to the Dragon King tapping into its energies. This warrior had lost his flesh due to being in the forbidden realm. Skab had managed to evade slipping into the Dragon Kings possession and was instead released upon Outworld. Skabs evil eyes glowed menacingly! The Dragon King had just unleashed a dangerous evil.

(I decided to keep this guy a mystery. Especially since I had no info to work with for him)

Ermac:

Now free of Shao Kahns control, Ermac is ever greatful to Kenshi for freeing him. As a being of souls, Ermac now feels it is time he departs from the known worlds. But first, he wants every trace of Kahns legacy destroyed. This included all of his minions. Since Kenshi was after Shang, he decided he would join his new friend in the hunt for the sorcerer. However, after finding Kenshi near death, Ermac and the souls within him are angered to an extreme. Their new friend had been hurt. The rage within Ermac from the souls produced a great power surge. Some of the souls flew out of his body and into Kenshis. Their mystical energies restored Kenshi to proper health before returning to Ermac. Ermac vowed to help his friend find Mavado and Shang Tsung. The two warriors set out together to achieve their goals.

Hotaru:

As the general of the Dragon Kings army, it was no surprise to the evil samurai Hotaru when his master rescued him from the Netherealm. Whilst in the forbidden realm Hotaru had managed to keep his lust for evil alive. His mind and soul had not been corrupted, but his body had become weak. Upon being released from the realm, his body was restored thanks to the energies the Dragon King had been tapping into. Hotarus body absorbed some of this power and gave him several new powers to play with. He provided his master with the knowledge that two of the Oni were free from the Netherealm. He did not know however of the whereabouts of the third. His mission now was to assist in the destruction of Earth realm and the chosen warriors. The Dragon Kings army had to be located, and then Hotaru would unleash his evil fury upon Earth.

Noob Saibot:

The elusive Noob Saibot had remained in the shadows after his successful attempt in the demise of Prince Goro. Knowing only too well that the Shokan and Princess Kitana. Noob was awaiting Shao Kahn to summon him, but his call had not come. Venturing back to Outworld, he soon found out about the attack on his master. It seemed that his masters presence in Outworld was still around. Something told Noob that his master was still alive. Upon arriving at the Emperors palace, Noob heard a familiar voice call to him.

Sektor:

The cyber ninja Sektor had fled to Japan to form his own clan. The Tekunin grew in number day by day. Sektor no had his own army and was ready to defeat the one who defeated him. Once he had killed Sub-Zero, he would take the Dragon Medallion and use its power to help him dominate Earth Realm. Sektors corrupted mind was now unable to be saved. His quest was to search and destroy. His army would lead him to triumph. The Tekunin was coming!

Raiden:

The god of thunder had remained on Earth to assist the mortals of Earth in the coming battles. Raiden did not know however, that his actions would cost him. The Elder Gods, fed up of his interference in the battle for Earth, stripped him of his immortality. His powers remained, but now Raiden must choose between regaining his immortality and defending Earth realm. His decision now could lead to his death or his ascension into the heavens. For now, Raiden was recruiting the warriors of Earth Realm once again. It would seem his decision was made. He would die a mortal defending Earth realm. He would not let this realm fall in defeat.

Shang Tsung:

Shang was weary about his importance in the partnership he had formed with Quan Chi. Li Meis soul had been the last one needed to revive the Dragon Kings army and Quan Chi was ready to attack. However he was still in possession of the amulet which was what controlled the army. Shang had instructed Kano to retrieve the amulet but Quan had sent Kano on a different mission and therefore the task was carried out. As a last defence against Quan, Shang had taken in the two Oni, Drahmin and Moloch. When he went o see them this time, they attacked him. Their lust for human flesh had not been quenched. However, the two did not consume Shang as the souls within him rotted his body upon leaving. They left the palace in search of flesh. Shang Tsung managed to return to the soulnado and healed himself, but now he had no defence against Quan. He would have to find a way to make his use in this partnership more beneficial to Quan, or he was surely going to die.

Dairou:

Dairou is the lone survivor of a village of rogue samurai warriors. Despite being rogues, they were mercenaries for good. The Tekunin had wiped out his entire family and friends. Dairou had survived, only because he was away trying to find out what had happened to his missing brother, His search had led him to believe that the Tekunin had kidnapped him for automation. Upon arriving home, he saw the Tekunin leaving the village. Their brutality was there for all to see. Dairou was enraged and upset and swore that he would avenge his brother and the people of his village. Unfortunately, he had no way of finding the Tekunin. That was until the thunder god Raiden appeared before him. Dairou was a chosen warrior of Earth realm. He would be able to face Sektor in the coming battle for Earth.

Kira:

Kira, a member of the Black Dragon had surfaced again. She has seen the many Red Dragon members searching for her clan members and had managed to evade them. Overhearing a conversation that some of the members had, she learnt that Kano was still alive. Her former lover was going to need her help. But it wasnt love that took her to him now. It was envy. She wanted to show her use to the sorcerers Kano was working for and gain herself a position of power. Her plan was to inform him that the Red Dragon was after him with the sorcerers help. Then she would tell them that Kano was going to betray them and have them kill him. This would be when they would trust her. The rest of her plan would be executed from there. Little did she know, the Red Dragon were really allied with the sorcerers!

Quan Chi:

The Dragon Kings army had been restored and now it was time for Earth realm and all enemies of the deadly Alliance to fall at their might. Quan Chi sent Kano to Earth realm to find out how vulnerable the forces of Earth had become without their champion. Since Quan had possession of the amulet, he no longer needed Shang Tsung. However, Quan decided the sorceror could stay alive for now. As soon as all their enemies were destroyed, Shang Tsung would be next!

Sonya:

Sonya had been following Kanos trail and it had led her to Quan Chis palace. She could not contact the Special forces and had no way of getting back to Earth. She was stranded. Whilst hiding out on the grounds, she saw Kano leaving in a hurry and decided to follow him. Kano met quan Chi and both were in heavy discussion about how vulnerable Earth realm was. Quan created a portal for Kano to travel through and left before the portal closed. Sonya ran into the portal back to Earth. She would find Jax and Raiden and tell them of the Deadly Alliances plan to attack.

Kano:

Kano had been ordered by Shang Tsung to steal the amulet from Quan Chi but Quan sent him on a mission to Earth realm to discover how vulnerable its forces were without its champion. Unknown to both of the Deadly Alliance, Kano had overheard a conversation between them and Mavado. Kano was furious that he was being used before handed over to the Red Dragon. Kano had also heard Quan mention that the Lin Kuei would need to be annihilated. He would make them pay. He now had crucial information for the Lin Kuei.

THIS IS THE FINAL SET OF FIVE!

Liu Kang (zombie):

Liu Kangs soul was now free thanks to the attack on Shang Tsung by Drahmin and Moloch. The soul managed to find the body of one of the soldiers of the dragon Kings army and quickly possessed it, freeing the soul already there. Liu Kang now had the ability to possess bodies at will. In this decayed body, Kang waits. Knowing that the Deadly Alliance have control over the army, he would wait until orders were given to the army. And then attack when the sorcerors least expected it.

Liu Kang (spirit):

Liu Kangs soul was now free thanks to the attack on Shang Tsung by Drahmin and Moloch. Unable to move on to the afterlife the soul had no where to go. The soul of Liu Kang had been slightly corrupted and whilst in Shangs body, had been tainted with evil. All memories had been twisted. All that was left now was the thirst to kill., Kangs soul left Shangs palace. The strong aura of his evil was felt by two beings. The Dragon King and Shao Kahn. It was the Dragon King that managed to capture the now free soul of the Earth realm champion. He could not risk giving Kang a body yet unless he attacked him, but he did corrupt the now evil soul further and tricked Kang into believing that his one time freinds were now his enemies. The Dragon King would unleash this spirit when the time was right. Liu Kang was going to destroy his friends.

Drahmin:

After breaking free from the chambers of Shang Tsungs palace, Drahmin accompanies Moloch around Outworld searching for human flesh and Quan Chi. The two Oni caused havoc and chaos where they went. Quan would be allerted to their presence this way. They did not know however, that they would attract the attention of others too.

Jax:

Jax had killed Hsu Hao, just like he promised. Before killing him, Jax had learnt that Mavado was the leader of the Red Dragon clan. Returning back to the special Forces HQ, he learned of Sonyas disappearance as he could not contact her. Kenshi had not been in contact either, but Cyrax had returned and told him of everything that had happened with Reptile and the vampire Nitara. Now Jax needed to find Sonya and agent Kenshi. He also had to contend with the new threat from the Red Dragon and also find Kano and the rest of the Black Dragon.

Shao Kahn:

The Emperor had been no fool! After his forces defeat at the hands of the Shokan and Kitana, he had created a decoy to stand in for him in case of any assassination attempts. What he did not expect, was for his two sorcerors to suddenly betray him. Their actions would now lead to their demise. Everyone believed him to be dead. No one would ever suspect that he was up to anything now. He would arise again with the help of his minions and the Shadow Priests. He would crush the two sorcerors and have them suffer for eternity! Then Kitana, the Shokan and all of Earth Realm would suffer! Shao was not down! He was merely biding his time.

I appreciate them. I especially liked how the classic characters are heading into new directions and like the idea of the DK tapping into the powers of the Netherealm (a very likely idea). Heh, just watch your tenses though :).

WOW T, just simply WOW, you do indeed have a gift.

I think one cool part to be added to your ASHRAH Bio, is that she hides behind the head mask so that the Gods cannot see her face, thus she cannot be frowned apon. Even though she kills to rid the realms of evil that set out to destroy, she hides behind the mask to try to make her history forgotton, and so she is comes off as a do-gooder...but is she true or is she [pulling of an act to try and decieve by her innocent looks and her good outlook on life?

Again, great work like always, Im going to go out on a limb by saying this thread will blow up by tonight, with praise to you, and you deserve it... GREAT work!!

Thanks very much. The new directions for characters like Scorpion were needed as many have complained about their stories being boring. Thanks for the kind words and I'll be sure to check over those tenses sometime. I usually don't have a problem with them. If anything, it's the apostrophes that get me into trouble!

Hey look 3 hours later, and I was right, it blew up, and you are getting praises left and right.

The countdown is the release countdown, days until it is released, today i believe is 144 or 143. Again great work and I look forward to be reading more on these down the line! MK247

I wouldn't be surprised if these are the REAL bios because these that I've read just then are good DAMN good at that!!!!BTW I hope Li Mei doesn't turned out to be evil in the actual storyline.
