I have no problem with the PS2 online servers, only that they can't seem to keep my record fights straight

I just started playing a few days ago and I 2 have been getting these problems. I unplug my headset on occasion hoping to cut back on the lag. It worked for a few times but could've just been a coincidence.

if you guys read the News And Updates section in the online menu, it says they are working on it. it was posted on the 15th.

but it sucks because even though stats arnt tracked for now, my rank has gone up from 816 to 2145 or something around that. this sucks.. how is it possible if stats arnt tracked for me to go up. and there are people with worser stats that are better ranked, wtf?

The rankings dont mean anything!

the stats are being tracked correctly, they're just not realtime stats... it takes a little while for your games to catch up on your record

Didn't they say that MKD supassed 1 million copies sold? And I only see about a hundred people on the PS2 server at any given time. Even allowing for XBox owners, that's a small percentage of MKD owners that play on the PS2 servers.
And still they have such bandwidth problems. They should count themselves lucky that more people aren't trying to play online

i think its an issue with the stats servers themselves, not a lag issue. remember when psycho stats first came out? how terrible they were at keeping up with stuff? think about that with a 100 people to keep track of at once. and ive been on where lots of folks been on, i think xbox has lots more players than ps2, cuz xbox people dont have lives:-p (Babality)

I have the same problems and I know it isn' t my internet service provider or my router. I play other games online and it works perfectly. The stats suck really bad for MK. I was 190-80 and this other person was 45-163 and had a better ranking than me. It just shows how much trouble gamespy is having with their servers. I can't take another inadequate connection failure again.
