The return of Shao Kahn and Liu Kang

These two characters should definetly come back in the next MK game since both were key characters in the first few games. Here is the way they come back and their expectations:

Liu Kang: Resurrected by Raiden and the elder gods to help his friends in the battle against the Dragon King and to reunite with his soul mate Princess Kitana.( He doesn't care about being the champion just helping his friends and being with Kitana.

Shao Kahn: Resurrected by Raiden who thinks with his help the Earth mortals have a better chance of beating the Dragon King. The interesting part is that Shao Kahn is believed to have turned good after helping the Earth mortals, but he turns on them after winning the tournament and controls the Dragon King's army to once again takeover the Earth realm. (This is only if he wins; his story)

i really dont think they will bring back liu kang i think they are done with him for good(thank god) and shao kahn well it is unclear if he is dead or not they just show a bloody helmet that blood could just be from his face. it never said he was killed so he might come back

Good point Ninjai. Liu Kang should not return, he's done. Shao Khan, well, maybe, because that guy kicked major ass.

I'm just curious to know, what is about Liu Kang that nobody likes? I mean ever since MK1 I have used him and he became my favorite character. The main reason I chose him wuz becuz everyone I played against were obsessed with using Sub-zero all the time, so I chose Liu Kang as a competitor like in the MK movie get it! But really what is it about Liu Kang that makes people happy he's gone?

the story where we have this one good guy that always wins just got kinda old-all these badass vilans and every time they get beat by some mortal guy with an unnescasarily high pitch voice.

also in reptiles bio it says something along the lines of he returned to his emporer tell him to find him slaine ...or something like that. i dunno check em out at mkwarehouse

Keep both of them dead...MK needs a change for once

dont get me wrong....Liu Kang and Shao Kahn are kickass, but the storyline needs a new direction

Liu Kang is no potential.

Shao Kahn has more potential than Liu.

he is de-evolving, as he is returning to a form which was past (his ancestors); otherwise that thinking would assume we are going to turn into monkeys the way we are going (sounds fun, but that doesn't help with my point)
