Okay, for those who don't know what Stickam is, it's a webcam site that allows you to stream live, and broadcast stuff. Meaning, if your computer is right next to your TV and PS2/Xbox/whatever you got, you can record yourself playing. Now, I know you're thinking, "This will create a bunch of lag." That is not the case. I've tested this with Bone, and we were only lagging if I stream-recorded. Simply streaming doesn't affect your connection at all, really. Of course, the downsides to this is to stream and play, this requires you being able to get online on the computer and game at the same time...and getting the lighting set well is pointless.
But nonetheless, you get to watch each other as they play MKA. It's a bit choppy, from my experiences, but nonetheless, it's rather cool. Bone's planning on picking up a webcam to do streaming.
So this is the official thread for Stickam, to list your profile name. We'll also try to have a video chat set up so that we can watch all the matches at once.
The site address is here: http://www.stickam.com
The name that we'll use for the chat room is MKA Streamline. It's gonna be public, for everyone to see!
Profile Names
Azuro - AzuroMasurao
PLAYER9 - swoosh
krayziebonethug - KRAZYBONE

well i dont think everyone is gonna get a web cam just to stream fights , when u can just record with a camera ..and besides not everyone wants to spend money on web cam and lag would probably be bad anyway. would need some good editing if you want to see fights clearly I would imagine.

Lol, you do realize that you can get a webcam for like $20-$30, while a camera costs at least $100, I think. Also, it's much easier to put up videos with a webcam. You can record using software on your computer. The real bad thing about webcams is that the light emitted from the TV shows up rather bright, so it's hard to see the fight, but you get that with a camera, as well, though not as bad. But meh, who cares? As long as you can see the characters, it's all good IMO.

You actually don't need a webcam to make an account, but if you wanna stream, you should get one.
Also, the chat room, I guess, is saved onto the site, so all you need to do is find MKA Streamline, and you're good to go. If it's not saved, then just make it.

ok nice I will make my account!!
i saw 2 matches up there, a drahmin vs scorpion and daegon vs ermac
the quality was horrible, and the playback was choppy and laggy.
i hope it gets better, despite, it was great fights, and nice to see you finally play azuro. take your time more, you have a decent turtle game that can be optimized to its fullest potential if you can make the right moves when neccessary, keep it up.

Thanks a lot, Check. That really means a lot.
Yeah, that was a result of recording via Stickam. It turns into crazy lag when you do that, not to mention the choppiness skyrockets. But yeah, I'll try recording using the QuickCam program that game with my webcam and I'll see how that works.

Yep, same here.
Well, I did some recording on the actual software that came with my webcam, and its just the webcam that's causing the choppiness. So it depends on what webcam you're using, I guess. So no more recording for me... >_<
