Hey guys,

I was going around the old mortal kombat games and i've also read a couple of threads about this.

In every Mortal Kombat game, The sub-boss was always Bigger ''in terms of proportion'' than the actual boss himself.

So we have the Dragon King who's one hell of a big dragon King.

So there is alot of possibilities cause if we stick to the tradition, We will have one Hell of a Big Sub-boss. Or we will for the first time see, one smaller but faster sub-boss, like reptile or one of the Dragon king's army soldier....

But there is also the possibility that something is controling the Dragon King. Ed Boon said that he wanted the ''surprise effect'' to be in this game. What would be better than that. He makes us believe that the Dragon King is the Boss and then BLAAMM, it's something else.

Alos I haven't seen a sub-boss level in the Tower of destiny and that is another tradition, the Sub-boss always had his own level.

So think about it guys.... Also the game is also called Mortal Kombat Deception...

I think it's going to be vice versa this time. The sub-boss will be smaller while the boss will be the biggest character this time.

It also makes sense since the sub-boss was confirmed to be playable. Plus Ed Boon said the DK is our Goro,Kintaro,Motaro but yet he is the boss.

If he said he's our Goro motaro, etc.... it link to a Sub-boss, Yet I know he said that Onaga was the Main Boss.

Bur i'm still a little bit skeptical.

Thanks for your reply man

I remmber this...

Boon said the main boss is the Dragon kind, so I'm sticking to that.

And I believe he said something along the lines of the Sub Boss IS someone we know and he WILL be playable. By know he might an old school character. Maybe one of the old bad guys teams with the Dragon King. Also it could be Reptile cause we all know him.

Personally, I think Reptile should be the sub-boss. A pumped-up Reptile.

I think it would be cool if the brought Kintaro back.
Maybe they will make u slog it out against the Earth warriors who have been posessed. Like and endurance against two or three of them. (Doubt it but cool I think).

Maybe Onaga and The Dragn King are seperate entities. Shujinko said in the video it is his fault for Onaga's return. Maybe Onaga isn't the Dragon King, but The Last Dragon or a beast from another realm that has control over the Dragon King.

I could also see Onaga or the Dragon King's Army being the sub-boss. Maybe even the Deadly Alliace (in a bit of Noob-Smoke action) could fill the role? If the Dragon King is the sub-boss, it doesn't mean he can't be the strongest MK villain ever.
EDIT: Sorry, I just saw the intro video. It looks like there is pretty much no room to dispute The Dragon King and Onaga are the same being.

Scorp-Ninja,

No, Boon meant that the boss is our big baddie by saying that. It's probably going to vice versa this time or both the sub-boss and boss will be big, but I doubt it since the sub-boss is playable.
