Because it is assume she is one of Shinnok's prisoners when his forces took over Edenia in MK4, and in MKDA she really didnt get onto the battlefield with Kitana and Goro.

Personally, I feel the deception will be none other than Shao Kahn himself, in that he 'deceived' everyone in thinking that he died.
Remember, everyone saw Liu Kang get killed. But nobody saw Shao Kahn get killed. All we saw was his helmet fall to the ground. For all you know, the guy on the throne was probably a decoy.
Heck! It could have been a big conspiracy between the deadly alliance and Kahn himself to fake his death!

That would be pretty God damn crazy if it was all a setup and he faked his death.

If one being can pull off a deception that big, it would be known other than Shao Kahn... Either way he'll be back, but i like this idea...

I dont think there will be one deception, I think there will be a good few. I think Rayden will be involved in one of the deceptions, and I think Shao Khan will be too. Then of course there's the Dragon King and Millena and Baraka. I think that Shao Khan will return and Mileena will be working for him against the Dragon King, who will have 'hired' Baraka and thats why theyre after on another.
