more so i think it would be cool if one of his army memebers was a super unlockable. Like a general or something. any after deception he would be lost soul thing kinda like Ermac(kinda i said) and next game trying to find his origin or something.

From the way the Dragon King's army looked in MK:DA, I think it'd be kinda corny to have a character like that. I dunno, to me, having MK characters that are all in armor and shit, isn't interesting. It's good if they got cool powers and a really good story, but they sorta do gotta look cool as well. Looking stupid (like hsu hao, wearing a cop hat) almost makes the character stupid sometimes. That's not a bad idea, but they'd probably have to change the appearance of the guy, kinda like how Cyrax got his body back, maybe this guy could be revived and looking as if he did in real life before the Dragon King took power.

Having to fight them, IMO, is a cool idea. But they would replace the sub-boss which is a bad idea. Anyways, the DK's army reminds me sort of of Meat from MK4 and I think it is just bad character design.

With the Soulnado destroyed, won't the army remain dormant?

not neccesarily i think? because they put souls into the bodies, unless they left when it was shut off

Well, it seems as if you would never fight the DK if he has his army. I think Raiden's blast destroyed them. They were undefeatable, but that doesn't mean they're indestructible.
