With online play, MK6 is gonna keep fresh for awhile, much more than MKDA. Online play for fighting games doesnt really get old as there are always new people joining and playing with different skill levels. (Ive been playing CvsS2 on xbl for over 6 months straight and its still very fun) Plus u can talk to them on the mic through xbl while u perform a fatality on them. Thats gonna rock. The wait for MK7 wont be so bad after MKD is released.

Truth is, everything about mk6 seems really fresh. The character choices are mostly old faces we haven't seen in a while, with the mainstay characters carrying semi-new looks. The only thing refined is the mkII atmosphere, but who the hell would complain about that?
