Theories on Bob

There has been many theories on who BOB is, a character from the past of a current character in the past, a new character?
Here are my thoughts on some of the theories
1)Great Kung Lao-
He could-
He has been very popular throughout the whole MK Games and there has even being a TV series about him, but he has not feautured in any game not even as hidden character. It would be good to see how the MK world shaped up back then. In the preview of Konquest mode he is standing with Havik, if his ending happend this would mean he has the ability to ressurect the dead.
He couldnt-
Then there are things suggesting against this, It shows in the Teaser video, a FMV or real time animation of Bob with Havik and Shinnok, i dont think that they would be included in "Great Kung Lao's" Story. Also showing Rain in Konquest mode, in his new amrour, but i dont know about this one. Also i belive it wouldt be a waste to dedicate Konquest mode to a fighter who died 500 years ago and would not have any relevance to the current affairs.
2)Hanzo Hasashi-
He could-
He had a lot of action in his past life, that play a big role in affairs nowadays. The murdering of his clan and his family is still and issue and it would be good to see and insight into this. Also, his quest to the Himilayas where he met and was killed by the first Sub Zero, the way that Konquest has been set out would encourage it to be some sort of quest. I have heard that Bob's stance does look like it is Hapkido too.Afterall Scorpion is Boons favourite character and he might like to dedicate this game's Konquest to him.
He couldnt-
Would he not be wearing his yellow ninja outfit if it is indeed Hanzo? He was still codenamed Scorpion before his death. Again Bob being Hanzo would have no relevance to current affairs unless it ran right through to current times.
3)New Character i.e Another Shujinko?
He could-
It is always exciting to see how a new character fits into the MK storyline, it opens up other people's story at the same time. It has been done before with Shujinko so why not again? After this it may mean Bob will might be then able to feautrue in MK8. If he is the hero it may generate a lot of support for him if Midway go about making him a hero the right way
He couldnt-
Many people dislike how Shujinko became the Hero, would the team have the sense not to make a totally new character the hero again, if that its the case that he is going to be the Hero.
All together i do now think it seems more likely to be a brand new character, but if you have any other theories please post!

I just think he's a new character like Shujinko was. He'll be another unknown that affected the plot somewhere along the lines just like Shujinko in a behind the scenes scenario.

Ya I saw him he look like mavado in a way but I pray he isn't another shujinko heres what I think though maybe he might be the opposite of shujinko and is evil and he has moves from evil characters though I am quite confused on what his story will be

It could be The Great Kung Lao, if it was here's how they would pull it off. The Eldero Gods ressurected him seeing as he is Earthrealm's most legendary fighter with the most Mortal Kombat tournament victories. Hanzo Hasashi, The Elder Gods ressurect Hanzo Hasahi becasue he is their champion, I doubt this will happen because Scorpion is basically Hanzo except he cant die.

Do you think there is any possibility that he will be a Black/Red dragon becuase it seems he is in some sort of clan becuase he has certain logos on his costume.

possibly, i was just disscusing this with a friend. in kiras ending, it says she was sent to find to find 2 more recruits/warriors to test. not that it canon but he could be a recruit

I really hope BOB isn't a new Shustinko. My MK experience would be ruined...completely. I don't think the MK team is dumb enough to make a new character like that after all the bad feedback from Shujinko.

"Bob" is a new character who was made for MKA's Konquest mode but I don't think he'll have as big a role as Shujinko did in MKD, which would be a good thing IMO.

Bob or "Hero" as one of the trailers reffers to him might be the new Lui Kang, a champion that survives this chapter, and bridges this game to the next gen titles. He could be the next new champion of MK.
I think he's the reason the most dead characters are back, becouse there was a screenshot where he talks to Frost when she is unfrozen in the temple and doesn't know where she is. Also he could be the reason why smoke and Noob-Saibot are not a tag team anymore becouse there also was a screenshot with their conflict.
