Yes, this does give support to the theory that Scorpion is a heaven's warrior. As a matter of fact, it almost guarantees it.

Still, let's hope Scorpion went the whole mile this time. I really want him to make the change for the better and take a side. If Scorpion is sucking up to the elders just to get a little closer to his goal of killing Quan, I'm going to be extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, that will probably be the case.

It'd be cool to see Scorpion as a dark angel if he is working for the Elder Gods. He can have glowing armour and spectral wings.(Not those sissy as feathered wings. I'm talking about Tyreal from Diablo 2 type wings. Huge and tentical looking like wings.)
I really hope that the MK team doesn't through this direction in the trash by ruining it just like Temp. said. But they will in any case. >:0

i dont really see scorpion becoming a "good guy" ever. what would be cool is if he had the opportunity to gain power with the gods somehow. maybe by doing something for the elder gods he becomes "god of fire." and it would be lame if he made some deal to get quan chi, butttttt thats probably what itll be.

I find it interesting that Scorpion is now meeting the Elder Gods. The bio seems similar to the one I wrote for him and some of the other bios I wrote are similar to those being released. I think Temp is right in the fact that whatever is going on with Scorpion, he will still in the end be after Quan Chi. I don't see Scorpion willingly taking a side. It's just not in his nature.

lol I doubt that somehow. But it is weird how some are so similar. I think I'll do a cross analysis with them. And then maybe this could help us speculate some more on what will happen.

Hmm. That's actually quite interesting. Even if it does involve the classic revenge plot, at least it has a new twist to it.

Yeah I think this is a great change in his story. It was probably planned when they made his story for DA. About time!!!!!!!!
It may end up being revenge again but it also may not. Lets hope for the latter.

Or he struck a deal to become human or to have the elders bring back his family.

Alot of good ideas and plot twist can definetly be spawned from it.

Are you sure that Scorpion it's "allied" with the Elder Gods... or Scorpion becomes a direct enemy of the Elder Gods? Because Scorpion is an enemy of Shujinko, the "chosen one" of the Elder Gods...

I don,t want to see him fight Sub-Zero once again(apparently they are now foes again). I hope that his storyline will strongly involve Quan Chi

I deffinately see Scorpion as a Warrior of Light. I even believe that he was inherently the "Hero" in MK:DA.

Man, these stories are really horrible, I was hoping the stories would be good, but Im not impressed at all. Well I hope they add alot more to the final stories. And I mean ALOT

Well, the storylines aren't full, dude. Remember the DA bios? Those weren't the full things. These aren't either.

There's ALOT more to be said.

Anubis makes a very good point here. The Elder Gods can be seen as neutral because Raiden always seems to have to act on the side of good FOR them. It's going to be interesting as we learn more, for sure.

if you look at scorps suit there are more elegant than deadly markings and patterns on his costume. it looks like he is being "sponsored" by the elder gods so that is now a "heavenspawn" instead of a hellspawn in a sort of ironic way. also I wouldnt be surprised if it says that scorp learned new moves such as the teleport to help the elder gods. you know that he will ask for alot in exchange for helping the elder gods but he could ask for almost limitless things for himself and others that are dead. and for the person who said he was neutral it is possible for peoples alignment to change during the game easily so I wouldnt count him neutral yet. as for him being shujinkos enemy im not sure how that will end up. maybe he is gonna be shujinkos 2nd man and be a backup plan if he fails so he is jealous that some old fart is beating him in the race lol. and it is also called deception so maybe he is deceiving the elder gods? you know that the MK team isnt gonna waste one of Boons fav characters. So i bet that scorp and sub will play a much bigger role in this one.

So far, Quan Chi seems to be completely out of the picture. With this latest development in Scorpion's storyline, I can't help but compare Scorpion to Spawn. Both were assassins, both were married and had a kid, both were killed by another assassin, and both went to Hell upon their death, though there are some obvious differences between the circumstances of their deaths and the relatives they left behind. If popular speculation actually happens in the storyline, then both are "Anti-heroes." I can't wait for MKD to be released, because I'd like to see what happens with Scorpion next.

Yeah, there's been lots of comparisons to Scorps and Spawn.

But which one came first? ;)

This all sounds very interesting....maybe they will give him a mission or something, thing is that the "Mortal Kombat" character ́s story is getting a twist in it. =)
